TL Silences Tough Critic - 2005 Acura TL
By Don Klein - September 15 - 5:00 pmAfter dozens of new car purchaces, my wife and I have finally found a car that we can totally agree on. She always bases her decision on looks and features, while mine is on the mechanical and reliability factors. Our new TL covers all bases on both sides. The looks and features alone sell the car, but the quality of the engineering on this vehicle is unsurpassed by any other vehicle at any price. The TL drives like a Vette, while being as comfortable as a luxury sedan. Fit and finish are impeccable. Three hour trips to the lake seem much shorter now. Performance is incredible, gas milage is good and we still get looks on the road. 20,000 miles. Great job, guys.

Frustration - 2005 Acura TL
By Frustrated - September 4 - 9:40 amMy fifth Acura and this is the first with a major problem. Randomly, when starting the car, the exterior temp display goes blank and the temperature settings go crazy. Twice, I have had a dead battery, first time at 1000 miles, and this car stays in the garage. Dealer replaced the original battery but had another dead battery three weeks later at 3000 miles. Guess Ill be working through exercising the "Lemon Law" and hope the dealer responds favorably.

Another great Acura package - 2005 Acura TL
By Stooxie - September 1 - 7:00 pmAcura does it again with the perfect combination of features and price. I had a TSX before this. I loved the car but it needed a little more stop and a little more go. The TL serves that up nicely. FYI, if you are choosing between a TSX and a TL there are subtle performance advantages to both. The TSX is a little smaller and a little tighter and is still 100% Japanese. For me, the TL is what I really wanted.

The Acura TL: A wise investment - 2005 Acura TL
By Jeffrey Nieman Jr - August 13 - 2:43 pmDollar for dollar, I challenge anyone to find a vehicle that yields a better return on money than the 2004 or 2005 Acura TL, specifically with the navigation system. The "Navi" does not just give drivers a map, it gives the driver the opportunity to also control the climate control, the audio system and of course, the navigational unit via voice command. The fact that it is dvd-based allows owners to update the seven million points of intest, which further allows the car, like the brand, to put a death grip on its long term value. For some prospective owners, it may be nice to know the engine and car is built in the U.S. and has a ULEV-2 rating.

Lovin it! - 2005 Acura TL
By Joshua - August 2 - 10:46 pmI go for looks and the Acura TL just kept making my head turn. I love the shape and its sporty-luxury look. I visited a showroom just to check it out and then just had to have one when I saw the interior. I recommend the one w/ the Navigation system. My ten year old son and I are just having a ball with the car. The wife and daughter are totally into it too. I love that I got so much for the money. :)

TL is the Bomb - 2005 Acura TL
By C E Hollier - July 10 - 10:00 pmJust bought an 05 TL non-nav. I have owned 3 previous Acuras and 3 Hondas, so my expectations were based on a solid product background. I was impressed with the over all power and low end torque the TL displayed. The ride is firm, yet comfortable and handles curves well. I am 62" and have plenty of drivers head and leg room. The overall package, materials, fit, and trim are excellent for a car in this pricerange. I also looked at the Mercedes C class and bang for the buck the TL was a no brainer. If you are looking for a sporty sedan that is fun, tight, and not too bad on the wallet the TL warrants a hard look.

Best Car On The Road For The Money - 2005 Acura TL
By Ed H - June 9 - 10:36 amThis car is so much fun to drive, I love the 6 speed transmission performs as well as european cars. I know my future cars will be Acuras. I especially like the hands free link ease of use. And to be able to open the roof and windows from the remote is great on those warm days. Also the climate control system is the best I have ever experienced in a car. And driving in the rain the car feels like glue on the road, and driving in the snow with the TSA is great gives you traction instantly. This a true drivers car with all the amenties you could ask for and for the money the best car you will ever own.
