Excellent Entry Luxury Car - 2005 Acura TL
By HunterKillerNYC - January 12 - 4:50 pmAs my first automobile purchase, and a longtime Acura fan, I absolutely fell in love with this car. The interior features are extremely sexy with the all leather trim and the blue effect lights, I get fairly decent mileage from this car, and the exterior looks very sleek. I still gawk at every TL I see on the street.

Its a Blessing - 2005 Acura TL
By Daniel Argueta - January 4 - 11:46 pmA treat to have, all the features and comfort included in the car, versus having to dress it up. My family and I are very happy to have bought the car.

A Great Looking Car with Some Quirks - 2005 Acura TL
By Chris T - December 17 - 7:30 amHave an 05TL with Navigation. The Nav is worth the money. The car will get up and go from 0 all the way to 120+. Could use some more low end torque, but it really pulls above 4,000 rpm. Two major annoyances for an enthusiast like me. The automanual when in manual mode still shifts by itself out of or into 1st gear. It completely ignores your commands at launch, and if youre in 2nd and floor it, it downshifts to first whether or not you have commanded it to do so. Very annoying. The TSX doesnt have this flaw. Also, the front doors wont stay open, even on a flat surface they constantly want to swing closed on you. Other than that, only the FWD prevents it from being an outstanding car.

A real head turner - 2005 Acura TL
By zman - December 3 - 11:20 pmThis car is simply great. I looked at the Audi, BMW, and Infiniti--and this car hands down takes the cake. Thought about waiting for the new VW Passat but simply fell in love with the Acura. Price was great as well.

WOW! - 2005 Acura TL
By moneyfool - November 27 - 5:23 pmCompared this with BMW 3 series and new Audi and this car stands out. Excellent mechanically and fun to drive. You can get it at invoice if you shop around. Drive is smooth and has better response than other cars. Audio system is amazing and NAV is very accurate. If you dont need NAV test drive without one as you will love it.

The new TL is unbelievable - 2005 Acura TL
By Orthodoc - October 29 - 12:10 amThe combination of luxury and all the "bells and whistles" at an affordable price makes this the best sports/luxury value around. Acura quality, but made in America, shows that it can be done. Hands-free Navigation & Bluetooth cell phone both work extremely well, XM Radio avoids the aggravation of travel and commercials.

Lexus vs Acura - 2005 Acura TL
By JC - October 26 - 10:20 amI compared the Lexus ES330 and the TL and found the pick up and acceleration response of the TL in a class of its own compared to the Lexus" sluggish "passing gear-like" acceleration. The TL handles magnificently and responds in all traffic situations. I got 26.4 mpg on a recent trip goimng 75 to 80 mph. Seats are a bit hard and the passenger side wasnt fully adjustable as was the drivers side. But the easeof acceleration on demand and the flawless shifting of the motor sold me . I always felt like I was going into passing gear on the Lexus I tested- not so with the Acura!

Excellent Car!!! - 2005 Acura TL
By Bret - September 20 - 7:53 pmThis is my 3rd Acura TL I have owned. All three of them I have thoroughly enjoyed, but when I saw the new TL in 2004, and how different it was from the other ones I have owned, I had to have it. The syling is very unique, finally different, and I love the interior. The DVD sound system is excellent, and Im convinced the Acura Navigation system is the best and most user friendly on the market. I love the voice recognition in the car is really nice, and I use it non stop. I use the blue tooth phone in the car all the time, and the only negative to that is I feel the Voice recognition on the blue tooth needs some fine tuning. All in all, a very nice car to own.
