satisfied customer - 2005 Acura TL
By chuck carter - October 7 - 12:46 pmI researched this vechile more than any I have bought and found it the most highly rated in its class. After 3000 miles, I concur with what I have read. The navigation system is easily learned, I am 64 years old with moderate computer skills and I use it regularly as I travel to find not only my destination, but banks, resturantes, etc. I average above 30 mpg on the road and above 25 in town. I am a large guy and find the seats comfortable at 240 lbs.

My dream car - 2005 Acura TL
By Steve - October 6 - 10:46 pmI wanted to buy this car four years ago and passed on it. Im glad I waited until the re-design. This is an outstanding car in every sense of the word. Not only that it is a real eye catcher when you are driving around town. It gets good gas mileage on the road but really takes off when you get on it. It is the perfect blend of sport and luxury as far as Im concerned. One of the best features is the surround sound stereo system. It is even better than my bose home system. Buy this car, you wont regret it.

Sweet Car! - 2005 Acura TL
By wisngamecock - August 23 - 2:23 pmBest looking model in the Honda/Acura lineup. The 6 sp is a blast to drive and much more exciting than automatic. Wonderful stereo and DVD sound. This car is very refined, balanced in all aspects. Compares to cars $10k more in price.

Sweet! - 2005 Acura TL
By abirvalg - August 14 - 9:33 amAmazing car for the money. Very happy with everything but a few quality issues with the interior. Love the looks inside and out. Fun to drive! Looked at ES, IS, A4, TSX, Camry, Accord. TL has it all and more. Dont buy a ~33K car without looking at this one.

Great Value - 2005 Acura TL
By Rob R - August 5 - 11:26 amStrengths: Fantastic sound system; smooth, powerful engine; sharp, short- throw manual transmission; perfect driving position; top-notch safety equipment; perfect build quality; enjoyable dealership experience; tons of car for the money. Weaknesses: Manual transmission- equipped cars hard to come by; OK, there is also a little torque steer.

2005 TL NAVI 6 SPEED - 2005 Acura TL
By ALI - August 1 - 9:56 amI love the Acura TL. For the money you cannot beat it. It is a very smooth operator, a little stiff on the ride; it might be the 17" wheels. I guess my TL will be a little stiffer because I will be putting 19" shoes on it soon. I like everything about the exterior styling. The interior of the car is above average to me. A lot of the car is voice activated. XM radio is ok, I wish I could hook up my MP3 player, nice 6 disc CD player, the audio system is 5.1 surround sound, nice highs with a powerful sub. The navi is to sweat, and I hope you already have a Bluetooth phone. I use my Nokia 6620, nice, paired up on first try. I have already used the heated mirrors and seats.

TL has value, aesthetics, refinement - 2005 Acura TL
By Craig - July 11 - 8:06 amI tested BMW 3 (pre 5/05), Saab 3 and 5, Infi G35X, and Lexus ES. To my ears the Acura TL engine was the most musical up and down the tach, and the automatic with sequential shift feature is very smooth and entertaining (and even practical when slower speeds and descents must be controlled). Suspension and brakes inspire confidence. What sold me on the car was the well-designed interior, the look and feel of the perforated leather seats, which are firm yet plush. For a midsize car, this has plenty of room on the inside for driver and passengers.
