Quality is important - 2005 Acura TL
By Quality is important - July 27 - 3:36 pmBottom line, I really like this car. Everything from the cool blue lights that shine down on the center console at night to the DVD Surround Sound system. Ive read some reviews about the difficulty of using the Acura Navigation system and the Handsfree Bluetooth phone link. I took time to master both and have had great success. Following the rules in the manual solves most voice command problems. I use the Verizon Motorola V710 phone. 95% of the time it syncs up great. Phone must be paired each time its removed from car. Can do it without looking now. Important to have the engine on before pairing. Wish the TL had MP3 plug with controls intigrated into nav. screen.

A LUXURY BEST BUY - 2005 Acura TL
By jonnyb - July 26 - 8:25 pmI shopped for months for a great sports sedan. I test drove a 06 BMW 325, a vovlo s40 turbo, an Audi a4 turbo, and an infinity G35. What it came down to was that the Acura TL had virtually more power, better navigation system, better reputation for reliability ( I asked 3 mechanics all said go Japanese), modern and stylistic interior, aggressive and sporty exterior, and a buyer friendly price tag.

Wish things were better - 2005 Acura TL
By Jerry - July 24 - 9:40 pmImpressive car at first but the interior is lacking and needs some serious attention. We love the power and comfort of the TL. Dissappointed in minor issues that takes the dealorship several times to fix such as passenger window will not always work, Bluetooth, Headliner sagging under sunroof. Aggravating issues keep popping up that make me want to trade.

Id buy it again in a heartbeat! - 2005 Acura TL
By bobm - July 24 - 9:08 pmI love this car. Looks great, handles well, does everything well! Even my 22 - 28 yr old kids like it! Ive got 45k flawless miles on it and am hoping one of my kids will be able to afford it when it hits 75k. Id be happy to get by with lower horsepower in exchange for a switch from premium to regular gas, but if it drops my gas mileage, forget it! This is truly a no-regrets car.

Easy fun and glad I bought one - 2005 Acura TL
By M. klein - July 23 - 8:50 pmGreat car and easy to drive. For me it was whether or not I would be happy without another mercedes. Had owned 4 Mercedes and decided this time to look at Acura as we were happy with our daughters Acura RSX that we bought 2 years ago. Reluctantly I went over but once behind the wheel there was no turning back. Lots of extras that the 320C class didnt have from Mercedes. The dealership was first class and the ride was superb. Loved the RL but since I still have a college student that will be driving the car in the summers with me decide that RL to fancy. I have come to love my TL in no time The ease of the navigation system and the voice command activation system is fun and I love my car.

good car - 2005 Acura TL
By Tim - June 30 - 11:30 amAlmost 6 months now. I didnt want to write review too soon before I really spend some time w/ it. Its a great car for your $$$. Nice ride on the highway. When I wanted to go, it goes. Had a lot of fun on twisties (w/ A-Spec). Fun car to toss around in the snow too (of course I took down those summer tires). Stability control just would not let this front drive car go out of line. Original shocks & springs were too soft. Got the A-Spec package and all soft feelings went away. (If you dig Lexus, this is not for you.) If you dont mind spend a little more, I highly recommend the A-Spec. power, winter driving, family use, look, functionality, quality and gas mileage (for 270hp) in perfect harmony.

Best Value for the Performance - 2005 Acura TL
By Pamela Tzakis - June 27 - 8:50 pmThis is one of the most attractive cars on the road. Its not the tight drive of the German made cars, but for the money it is amazing. We do have an issue with the volume level of the stereo - have to max it with a window open. Also, we have beige leather interior and it is wearing VERY badly. Looks like a 10 year old car and we only have 6000 miles on it. Also, we loved how it looked, and the price point was great, but it is a bit small. Navi is hard to read during the day, especially on a sunny day. Overall, the complaints are few. The leather is a costly disappointment however.
