  • Owned many Jeeps...this is the best! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I love my new Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Limited. It is the 6 cylinder engine and has plenty of power. It seemed a little on the expensive side at the time of purchase but now I couldnt be happier. The fit and finish is great. The leather interior looks rich. I have the blue and brown leather. The transmission is very smooth, and although it took some getting used to, I really like the design of the exterior.

Bought our Trailhawk 1/2014 after we fell in love with its design. Well we currently have 9k on it and have had no issues with it at all. We took it in for the transmission updates but because we were asked to, we never really had any complaints with its shifting. Were in our late 50s so we had to learn how to drive this new ride. It does have a delay in acceleration and when you let off the gas, but nothing thats hard to adjust to. In all we love the truck, its very comfortable, has all we wanted and most of all to date has been very dependable. I will say it has never used the ninth gear , seems that 7th is the gear its in when driving at 65. Gas milage is averaging around 20.8.

  • Hello happy mileage! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I started reading Edmunds.coms reviews a while ago, deciding between Mazda CX-5 & Cherokee, i am happy with my choice, is super comfortable and full of details as they claim, i switched from Jeep Liberty (3.7 V6) to the V4 and mileage is great, granted is that the V4 does not performs nor sounds as my old V6 did but my main concern was gas mileage so to me is a fair trade, tested the VW Tiguan Turbo and seems a more powerful V4 than Cherokee but overall car is no comparison at all. If you are looking for super performance probably the V6 will respond better to that need, design which seemed hideous on pictures quite frankly grows in me easy and love that sets it apart.

I drove a Jeep Cherokee as a teenager, and after the disappointing performance of my last vehicle, was excited to trade up. It is comfortable, performs well both schlepping me back and forth to work and tooling through the hills. The technology features are a comfort when off the beaten path, and the panoramic roof brings all of the great outdoors in no matter what the season or weather. For once, I am excited about traveling back and forth between Idaho and Montana this winter.

I traded my Subaru 3.6R wagon after it blew a head gasket after 60,000mi. I decided to try the new Cherokee and I was not disapointed. I can say Ive had Chevys, Subarus, Hondas and Nissans and this is the first vehicle I can honestly say I cant find anything I dont like about it. The performance and comfort are amazing and I love the front to back sunroof. Off road handling is Jeep Trail Rated and does not disapoint. Love my Hawk!

  • Limited V6 - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I recently purchased a Limited V6 with the Tow Package, Technology Group, & the Luxury Group. My wife and I love this vehicle. It is very comfortable and has plenty of power. The 9-speed transmission is smooth, but does take a little getting used to because the shifts happen at smaller intervals than what you expect for a 5 or 6 speed transmission. The ventilated seats are slightly more comfortable than the standard seats - they feel a little like the Grand Cherokees seats. The vehicle is quiet & well built. The tecnology group works well. On the highway it averages 28.5 mpg & in mixed driving is averages 22.5 mpg. The cockpit is similar to a 2014 Grand Cherokee, but smaller overall.

Whats broke on it so far: Cruise Control - Gets going over speed set going downhill. Set to 70mph and seen it go over 86mph. Radio - randomly duplicates mp3 files Radio - randomly freezes and reboots while driving. Engine - 17k miles and started leaking oil Broken fog light switch - shoved into dash. broken at factory Fuel door - freezes shut in winter and need hot water to open it Shifting - loud pops as it goes into gear at times and upshifts on hills and lugs down Shifter - Went to put it into gear and shifter broke

4x4 Trailhawk V-6 has excitement and passion. Owned many SUVs like Tahoes, X5, ML and original 87 Cherokee. Drives like a luxury vehicle, refined, comfortable, fast, powerful. Interior design, materials, fit and finish and seat design first rate (better than Grand Cherokee). Interface screen, nav and controls (with backup) is very intuitive and the best in the business. Love exterior and interior style including front end. Blacked-out trim on a white Trailhawk with black hood trim is awesome. Passing power is totally appropriate for the situation with partial-throttle downshifts (9-speed does not mind skipping a gear). Low RPM at any speed. Uses regular 87 octane gas.

  • Excellent Vehicle - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Cherokee Latitude V6 4 x 4 bought early June 2014, currently with 6000 miles on it. This has been a very nice vehicle, keeping my wife happy (replacing a totaled Caravan) with enough space for a reasonable amount of hauling in town. We generally drive it on road trips, also. Dont overlook that this really is a Jeep, a little heavier than otherwise would be the case, but you find the advantages when driving over rough roads, as it just glides along where most cars would be shaking themselves to pieces. MPG is great on the highway, up to 27 mpg, with excellent merging acceleration for on-ramps. Cornering is good, also. The 8.4 inch touch screen is easy to read and works well.

  • Couldnt be happier with our Trailhawk! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I went to the dealership with the idea of buying the grand Cherokee. Next to it was the new Jeep Cherokee trailhawk, and I instantly fell in love. My wife wanted a car with personality, character, luxury and lots of technology. It has all of that and more. Weve already taken in offering with my JK to the Southern California desert and it performs incredibly. This car has Fiats interior design touch, which makes it all the better. We took a gamble buying a new model, but we have faith in the Cherokee brand and expect this car to be around for a long, long time. Id recommend it.
