Overview & Reviews
Last year's 2.4T model is now the 2.5T, with the same 208-horsepower engine as the AWD model. Bi-xenon headlights are a new option, while the sport package for the 2.5T includes speed-sensitive power steering.
- Superb comfort, wide variety of safety and luxury features, balanced ride and handling characteristics, available all-wheel drive.
- Handling lacks true sport sedan precision, expensive optional equipment, turbo lag and torque steer in the T5 model.

Beloved Car, great investment. - 2004 Volvo S60
By ccolli17 - September 1 - 9:23 pmThe 2004 Volvo S60 was my first Volvo, and will not be my last. It is my strong belief that the car has saved my life twice, and has also had minimal problems, especially for someone as hard on cars as I am. I bought the car in 2008 with only 28,000k on it, and put 89,000k on it in a 3-year time frame (117,000 k by 2012). The car withstood 2 minor accidents and 2 major accidents. During the time I owned the car, I replaced a fuel sensor that was a factory recall, one battery, one break job, tires when necessary, and all other replacements were due to car accidents- pretty amazing for 89,000k miles of use.

Love my Volvo ! ! ! - 2004 Volvo S60
By volvoguy - August 4 - 2:00 amI love this car and dont feel right driving anything else. The car has a very heavy feel to it very solid. The design of this car turn many heads and I constantly recieve comments on my car all the time. You have to have the sunroof when driving with the sunroof open I can still listen to the music perfect. I also have the Navigation system in which is very helpful for me being in a new city, when not in use it tucks away automatically in the dashboard itself for some reasons all my passengers are like WOW. Overall this car is absoluetly a winner ! ! ! ! !

The best car that I could find for ~$30k - 2004 Volvo S60
By Straightnochaser - July 31 - 10:00 amOne of the smartest buys in my life. I bought it for my mother that I respect and love so much. I searched & researched hard for the best car available in terms of style, performance, safety, luxury and build reputation. Volvo IS it, my friend, and there is no doubt about it. Look forward many years to see what Volvo is really made of.

First Volvo - 2004 Volvo S60
By rooster94 - July 5 - 10:00 amJust bought our First Volvo. got 4350 off MSRP of 33500...maybe could have done better, but seemed like a lot of car for under 30k. We are very pleased with the dealer, price, and performance of the car.

volvo girl for life - 2004 Volvo S60
By volvo gal - June 29 - 2:00 amI owned a S40 for two years and wanted more power, the s60 was it! the Volvo moto is correct. Volvo for Life. Once you have driven a volvo you will find it hard to ever go back to a honda! The s60 offers power when needed and comfort the whole way. Highly recommeded, body style is big and bad! if the HP of 204 w/ turbo is not enough plan on the ECU chip being released later this year, boosting to 304 HP!

Superb with few exceptions - 2004 Volvo S60
By New Englander - June 23 - 2:00 amThis car is extraordinarily comfortable (in the front seat) and very handsomely styled. The back seat legroom is tight, but not uncomfortable. Open road performance is quite good in acceleration and braking. Holds curves well at higher speeds. Advanced suspension setting is unusable for roads in my area - other settings are good. The premium sound system is very average. Why anyone would want Dolby Prologic for their non-Prologic encoded music is beyond me. H.K. should have offered a better surround mode.
