Last year's 2.4T model is now the 2.5T, with the same 208-horsepower engine as the AWD model. Bi-xenon headlights are a new option, while the sport package for the 2.5T includes speed-sensitive power steering.

Fantastic car! - 2004 Volvo S60
By Julia S. - June 18 - 10:00 amOk, so Ive had the car for less than a week. I absolutely love it. The 2.5T S60 2004 has incredible styling, power, and luxury. Ive never owned a Volvo, but between the super experience at the dealer and the car itself, Ill be buying Volvos for a long, long time. Its a luxury car without the high price. I was torn between the S60 and a Honda Accord. No contest. The S60 is better built, drives better, and its not what everyone else is driving! Yet.

GREAT everyday driver - 2004 Volvo S60
By Tara - June 11 - 6:53 amI have had this car for a little over one year now, and it is fantastic. I drive it everyday, in every weather condition. Handles great, love the actice chassis controls. Gas mileage is wonderful, as long as youre not constantly in boost. Looks great with the factory body kit..nice and sporty. Highly recommend this car!

anticipate high cost of ownership - 2004 Volvo S60

Repairs to date: all valves replaced, power steering pump replaced, multiple hoses replaced; etc. Far higher cost of ownership than prior cars; S60 was supposed to be a field proven model. I cant tell if my dealership is exploiting me or if the car is just built to fall apart. My other vehicle, a 97 Honda Civic, is bombproof - no major repairs, >> 100K miles. I will not buy another Volvo; for the price and maintenance, the math is not compelling.

Fantastically comfortable drivers feel behind the wheel, very responsive handling and superior sound from the stereo. Doubles as a family car but really fits in any circumstance.

Volvo has finally made a sports sedan that can easily beat the stuffing out of any BMW 3 or 5 series along with an Audi A-4 or A-6 with caonsiderable rivalry with a Mercedes E55 AMG. The Volvo S60 R is hands-down the greatest sports sedan ever!

By bpmba - February 4 - 10:00 ami traded in a 98 s70 glt turbo for this s60 ... and i love it! i custom ordered it with premium & sport packages, dstc and bi-xenon headlights, so i had to wait a few months for its arrival. this car is **much** smaller than my s70 and that parts taken a little getting used to. but overall, im very pleased with its handling, performance and styling.
