Overview & Reviews
Last year's 2.4T model is now the 2.5T, with the same 208-horsepower engine as the AWD model. Bi-xenon headlights are a new option, while the sport package for the 2.5T includes speed-sensitive power steering.
- Superb comfort, wide variety of safety and luxury features, balanced ride and handling characteristics, available all-wheel drive.
- Handling lacks true sport sedan precision, expensive optional equipment, turbo lag and torque steer in the T5 model.

S60R - 2004 Volvo S60
By Kim Viner - March 19 - 10:00 amGood looking car that has great performance and very nice interior. Performance very trong at higher elevations due to the high boost turbo(I live at 7000 ft). Litle turbo lag and the six speed transmission is well suited to the engine. Selectable suspension settings make a noticeable difference. Rie quality on interestate type surfaces is really smooth in comfort mode. The active suspension cures the body role problems of other S60s. Sapphire black metalic paint has a slight hint of purple which makes it look not "too" black. I had reservations about the "blue" leather interior, but when seen in person, it looks really nice.

This Is a VOLVO? - 2004 Volvo S60
By Wolf021 - March 8 - 2:00 amI test drove many cars, including the automatic version of this car which completely lacks FUN of any sort as I knew before I drove it. However, I was locked onto the interior. What a pleasure! I made calls and wrote e- mails and behold someone backed out of their special order...6 Speed. Night and Day compared to the auto. And yes I drove the heck out of it before I purchased it. I put so many miles on it I had to buy it. I wasnt about to let this one go.

Awesome Safe, Performance & Luxury - 2004 Volvo S60
By Greg Colley - March 1 - 2:00 amI sold my expensive, loud, hard to get into, Porsche 911 C4 Cab. to get the S60R. What an great performing automobile. The 300hp. gets up and move you down the road in luxury, and I mean luxury, the seats are the most comfortable you will ever sit in! Get the groud effects package for style. Safe too.

S60R Review - 2004 Volvo S60
By chiro444 - February 19 - 10:00 amThis is the perfect car for me. All wheel drive, 6 speed manual transmission, electronic suspension and 300 horsepower. Plus it safisfies the need for a "family car" with four doors and reasonable gas mileage.

very good - 2004 Volvo S60
By mobada - January 31 - 10:00 amI love the car over my 2000S40. Bigger, more responsive, roomier, luxurious. Car key is too big and keeps falling off key chain. Should go back to key and separate piece for alarm, etc. Bose sound system would be nice but sound system is great. Needs trunk release that opens trunk.

Great - 2004 Volvo S60
By T Endi - January 13 - 10:00 amHigh performance and stealthy. This car fits the sweetspot for those who want the perfect mid-sized sports sedan and do not want to spend over $45K. Far more comfortable than the competition.

An Outstanding Experience - 2004 Volvo S60
By Chicklett - December 19 - 10:00 amI am driving a premium pkg. option dark blue, black leather interior. It is a fabulous ride, my first volvo and I am hooked ! The car is extremely fun to drive with a lot of zip. The turbo engine option was a good choice for me. This is Not a family car unless you have babies. The back seat is very cramped especiaklly if there are two regular sized adults sitting in the front. The wagon would be a better option. The sound system is superb and I am very impressed with the resale values.

Wow! - 2004 Volvo S60
By Rrrreally Nice - December 13 - 10:00 amJust got my S60R. Wow! Silver with the blue interior is the way to go. The blue leather is not as loud as in the brochure. Acceleration and handling are excellent, and the seats are much more comfortable than the BMW 5 series.
