I love what it does for me - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By butzokoy - December 1 - 10:00 amMy family has owned Toyota trucks for many years without a problem. Well I think Ill stick to the our tradition because I love this truck from its rugged design and power of the engine when I haul my jetski. And with the TRD package I have no problem going off road when I go hunting. I love this truck and what it does for me.

Its good to be back with Toyota - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By Pierceu2 - October 30 - 2:00 amThe last toyota I owned, a 1983 pick up had over a quarter of a million miles on it when I sold it , and was in about the same shape as the 2000 nissan I bought to replace it with after only 60,000 miles. I strayed away for a cheaper price in 1999 and wound up payed the price in the long run. Its good to be back in a solid riding vehicle again that I can drive and drive with no worries.

longevity - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By single female - October 25 - 10:00 amI am in the process of buying another toyota. I bought my first one in 1985. At that time it was just called Extracab. Unfortunately I was in an accident April of this year and my truck was totaled with a 430,000 miles. I changed the oil every 3,000 miles, myself. I still was getting 25MPG and drove it about 500 miles per week. All this from a single female, not bad, huh?

One Tough Truck - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By Natphog - October 20 - 10:00 amThis is my second Tacoma. Traded in 2001 extra cab for double cab as I needed more room, which I love. Toyotas reliability and fact that I had no problems on 2001 with over 35000 miles on it was main reason for trading. Dealer made an offer that was much better than I expected. I considered other trucks and some SUVs, but Toyotas quality and chance of fewer problems was deciding factor.

looking good - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By jimml - August 26 - 2:00 amEngine and performance better than my old Ford 150 V-8. Better everything, and reliability is why I bought this truck, as well as the fact that it is the best looking compact out there. Good to know it can tow up to 5000 lbs. when Ill need it this summer. Couldnt find the clock for the first few days - placed in awkward place. Interior could use an upgrade.

Good truck, a few problems - 2003 Toyota Tacoma
By jimwhoboughtatruck - June 24 - 2:00 amThis truck has 2500 miles on it now, and I have noticed a few problems. The steering wheel is in the way of the clock, and I have to lean over to see it. About half the time, the truck takes two tries to start. I have no idea why a brand new vehicle would not start on the first try. Since I bought the truck, a few rattles have developed in the interior. One is the cover for the passenger side airbag on the dashboard rattling. I havent tracked down the other rattle yet. The clutch petal just started squeaking every time I press it down.
