This Year's Model Updates:

The Toyota Sienna receives more standard equipment for 2006. Most importantly, the formerly optional front side-impact airbags and three-row head-protecting side curtain airbags are standard on all Siennas this year. Other changes include new seat fabric for the CE and LE trims and Optitron gauges for LE, XLE and XLE Limited models. The XLE also has dual power front seats this year, and the XLE Limited gains driver-seat memory. There's also a new power-folding rear seat option on XLE Limited 2WD models. In addition, all Siennas receive a new grille, headlamps, foglamps and taillamp clusters. Finally, revised SAE testing procedures have dropped the van's stated horsepower rating from 230 to 215.

Pros:
  • Smooth ride, refined V6, packed with safety and convenience features, seven- and eight-passenger seating configurations, above-average fuel economy, available all-wheel drive.
Cons:
  • A bit too much lean in the corners, seat comfort and noise isolation could be better, expensive option packages.

  • Great Buy - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I never thought I would own a mini van. But having a sedan with 2 kids just wasnt working out. The sienna offers so much room for the kids. It drives a lot better than I thought. My wife loves it. I like the fact of how safe I feel with her driving her and the kids around. I test drove a lot of mini vans and this by far was the best. I got the lower end model and it has everything you need and more.

  • Better than thought! - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Our family grew and we needed all 8 seats. We owned a 98 Sienna and loved it so when Toyota came out with a 8 seater it was a no brainer for us. It is quieter, smoother and has everything a large family needs as well as being economical to drive. Would tell anyone who is considering to buy the Sienna it is fun to drive and doesnt feel like a minivan but like you are driving a sedan. We looked at all the competition and test drove them all and there is no comparision with Toyota quality. Buy and enjoy.

  • Great for the whole family - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I am a long time owner of Toyota vehicles so I didn’t need to be sold on the quality. Plus, Toyotas hold their value so you don’t lose much buying new. I just wanted to make an educated decision. I researched this van for over a month. I found the “real owner” reviews to be great. This van came highly recommended. Most importantly this van has great safety features for your family. My whole family is safe in this van. I love the way it drives. You feel like you’re gliding around in traffic. I can carry 8 people around with the a/c full blast and I still have excellent power.

  • Best family vehicle I have ever owned - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Well I will start out with that I had another minivan that was junk. It sat at the dealership for about 30 days for a clunking noise, so I said thats it. I went to a toyota dealership and purchased my van. I have added xm radio mounted on the far left corner at top of my windshield and radar detector on the top left of my rear view mirror and navigation unit on the top right of my rear view mirror, all units are hard wired in.

  • Lexus-quality - 2006 Toyota Sienna

If reliability and quiet, smooth ride are important to you this is your van! This is a quality ride. Consumer reports uses term Lexus-quality to describe the van and I would agree.

  • Love my baby! - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Totaled my other 2006 Sienna, bought new in 2006. EXCELLENT SAFETY FEATURES! Air bag deployed, seatbelts locked & minus bruises from belts, all are totally fine! Bought current Sienna cause we loved this van sooo much! I do agree with others about paint scratching easily & it sometimes seems to shift awkwardly. It came with reg tires (not run-flats for AWD) & a spare; good financial decision. Dont know why those with XLE models are complaining; I have less features & love it! It saved my life & my twin sons. Love my baby!

  • Most comfortable minivan - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I purchased this van just 2 weeks ago. I took on the first trip to Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas, and almost 2000 miles on it. 6 people and some of the luggage. The handling was so smooth, there was virtually no noise as I speed up to 90mph to check this van out. The stereo sound is great. I had owned a van and SUV before but nothing compare to this van, I love the interior it is nicer than 2005 model. If you want Lexus-like luxury in your family hauler, the Sienna has your number. With tons of innovative features and even more available options.

  • Cant go wrong - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Honda or Toyota? Up to you. But with AWD in the Pacific NW, we couldnt go wrong. Plus, the fully loaded Sienna is closer to a Lexus than the Odyssey is to an Acura. 100% satisfied. So much more refined than 2003 4Runner Ltd.

  • Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I went from a Chrysler Town and Country to a Sienna and the difference is unbelieveable. The ride is smooth and the comfort cannot be beat! Our family has 3 under the age of 3 and we all fit comfortable, even with all the diaper bags and strollers! Great buy, Great car and the 10 airbags are a plus with little ones riding in the back seat!! The 6 cd changer, the mirror to see what is going on in the back and the Homelink system are added bonuses!
