Lots of Interior Space - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By KeithS - June 7 - 12:06 pmWe bought this car because my wife needed lots of room to haul around products for her business. Its great for long road trips: comfortable seats, cruise control, and telescoping steering wheel with well-designed controls, lots of cup-holders, and plenty of electrical sockets for technology gadgets. Maintenance-wise: changing the oil and replacing front brake pads are both quite easy. However, accessing the rear bank of spark plugs is almost impossible; dealer charges $400+ to change all 6 plugs. Replacing the air filter and rear wiper blade were a pain. Airflow over the windshield has a "whistling" sound. The paint on front chips away too easily. No "really big" repairs yet, though.

A relief - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Toyota Sienna - May 24 - 4:10 amWe were looking for a vehicle that was safe and one that was great for everyone to want to be in and the Sienna is the perfect fit. I am also able to use it for my business and the middle row seats easily come out and the rear seats fold flat. We test drove several vehicles and decided Sienna was the one for us. Plus we were able to get a great deal on it as well.

Better Than Honda! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By roger - May 21 - 7:43 pmThis van is excellent, I was recently in an accident on I-99 in Sacramento area, and I was side swiped while changing lanes and I hit part of the guardrail as I tried to dodge most of the car that hit me! Well, anyways it was me, my wife, and our 9-year-old daughter! All 3 rows of airbags deployed and so did the front and side airbags up front! I had minor bruises from airbag, but I rather have that than be dead! My wife and daughter didnt have a single scratch! By the way I was going around 60 mph on the freeway at the time! This van has excellent safety features, good fuel economy, very brisk acceleration, ride comfort, and built quality! I did get another Sienna. It is the 06!

Needs better fold down rear seats - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Jerry - April 8 - 9:03 amI bought this van because it was a Toyota. I tried a Dodge and the only thing I thought that was better on the Dodge was that all the rear seats folded down easily. Only the third row seats fold in the Toyota and it is more difficult to fold them down. The middle seats are so difficult to remove and replace that once I got them back into the van I decided never to move them. They are much more difficult to remove than the seats in my 1993 Plymouth Voyager.

excellent ride - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By CINDY KLOS - February 23 - 3:40 pmWe love our new Sienna. It was taken on 2 long road trips last summer and both trips were a dream. It was a very comfortable ride both times. We traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to 2 different areas in North Carolina. It is a pleasure to drive. You can turn on a dime. I do not care what the testers say I would never buy another make. I will always stick with the Sienna as long as it is being made.

#1 van - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Sam - December 4 - 9:56 pmWe thought about buying the Honda, but with no All Wheel Drive - why bother? I love this van and I dont even like vans to begin with. This is a superior vehicle.

I love it! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By firstdaddy - November 21 - 10:00 amWell, we waiting until the 2005 Odyssey came out before making our decision on a van. One test drive with the 2005 Odyssey and we could not run back to the Toyota dealership fast enough. The Sienna is still in another class when it comes to ride quality. The New Odyssey retains its clunky and stiff jarring ride for 2005. Very disappointing. However, the good news is we got a great price on our new Sienna because the completion. We acted like we were on the fence the whole time we were debating the price. The price kept on dropping the more we talked up the 2005 Odyssey. Thanks Honda! You let us buy the better vehicle for less money.

Need Real Tires - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Jon Sutterby - November 2 - 6:03 pmThe 05 Sienna we have is a great vehicle. Lots of room, quiet, good looking and lots of power for a mini van. I love driving it... you dont know youre in a van unless you look in the rear view mirror, its awesome. But I dont know what Toyota was thinking with the tires they picked??? The Dunlop SP 4000 tires are total junk!!! We have 2200 miles on the van and they are wearing like they have 12,000-15,000 on them and are already cupping @ 2,200 miles. What a joke!! If it werent for the tires it would be perfect for us!!!

Lexus build, Lexus ride - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Windy Mtn. Man - October 22 - 2:50 amGot 5,000+ miles on my Sienna and have got absolutely no complaints... Toyota folks really did their homework on this one. I test drove the Odyssey for a week before test driving the Sienna, the Sienna proved to be a much smoother ride... much better fuel economy while not sacrificing power and performance. All-around quality is much more solid in the Sienna.... feels like a Lexus.
