This Year's Model Updates:

The Sienna has been completely redesigned for 2004. Roomier and more powerful than before, Toyota's minivan entry now has the all-important fold-flat third-row seat, as well as a choice of seven- or eight-passenger seating (on lower level trims) and available all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Reliable Camry genes, refined V6, fold-flat 60/40 third-row seat, seven- and eight-passenger seating configurations, available all-wheel drive.

  • LOVE IT! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

My husband wanted a mini van I was against it. We looked at the Honda Odyssey but when I took it for a test drive it was like driving a cargo van. My husband had to drag me to Toyota to try the Sienna. I could not believe the differnce. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! It drives like a car & the turn radius is fabulous. I can make a u turn like a Camry.

  • By Far The Best Vehicle Ive Ever Owned - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I have never really been a "mini-van" person, But I have to admit that there is truly no better vehicle for a growing family than the Toyota Sienna. This van has more than enough room for two growing boys and all of the things that my wife and I need to transport. The ride is excellent and, even though it is big, it handles like a car and I have yet to find any major "blind spots." Overall a seriously comfortable and economical ride that will make even the most adamant anti-minivan folks think twice.

  • Great Van - 2004 Toyota Sienna

We love our new Sienna! The split fold down 3rd row was the big seller. The ride is quiet and comfortable. We feel like we have more than enough power for passing and merging. Kids love the extra room.

  • Best vehicle I have ever owned - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Purchased in Canada, this van is great in snow. After 44 months and 195000 km, this vehicle has had only routine maintenance. We love the ride, the room for luggage, great highway vehicle, smooth ride, short turning radius, excellent sound system. Only regret is not getting the XLE. I can think of nothing negative to say about this vehicle. Just replaced the timing belt, water pump and plugs at 185000 km and it runs like new again. Local Toyota dealer wanted $900 plus for that work but i had it completed by a trusted small town mechanic for $560. Am on third set of Michelin all-weather tires. Had my first alignment and the vehicle runs smooth as glass. Averaging 25.4 miles hwy and city.

i was choosing between the toyota Sequoia and the Sienna for a family of five, finally i was convinced by my wife to get our Sienna as the 3rd family car,the ease of loading and unloading the family helped make my decision.

  • Much Nicer Than The Odyssey! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

When we started thinking of getting a minivan, everyone steered us towards the Honda Odyssey. We did research online which also rated the Odyssey the best. We first looked at the 2004 Sienna and loved it. Because of everyone telling us to buy the Odyssey, we decided to take a look. We couldnt believe the difference between the two. The Sienna was much nicer! And the price was just about the same. We purchased the 8-seater, which was very difficult to find, but will help when we have out-of-town visitors.

  • Odyssey Killer - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Just picked ours up a week ago and are totally dazzled. Owned a Grand Caravan for 5 years and test drove a 2003 Odyssey and the Sienna is far superior. The Odyssey is the closest competitor, interior dimensions are almost identical and it has the same folding rear seats. The Honda handles nicely, accelerates and brakes well, but is totally devoid of any character - the interior is so spartan and functional that it was like driving a delivery van. Sienna on the other hand is more comfortable, quieter, smoother-riding and makes you feel like you are driving from your favorite chair at home.

  • 2004 Toyota Sienna XLE - 2004 Toyota Sienna

This the THE minivan to get. They took the 4 year old Honda Odyssey and added many features to it. Mainly SPLIT Magic Seat in the rear. The Honda seat is too heavy for a woman to fold away.

  • Sassy - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Excellent handling and performance. Great features and reasonable price. If you have to buy a minivan, this is one to consider. Drives like a car, and with available AWD, it is as capable as an SUV. Should be the benchmark for all other maufacturers.
