Overall Very Good Experiance - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By Nyer - June 14 - 2:23 amAlmost up to 36,0000 miles. I took it to the dealer since I had the thunking in the steering column. They are fixing under warranty. They noticed the water pump was leaking and fixing under warranty as well. The front brakes needed replacement too. The tires are showing their wear and need to be replaced, these were the Geolander OEM. So all that being said, I would buy again. Love the handling and I feel safe in it.

WATER PUMP Failures - Majorly Expensive - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By amyb6 - June 12 - 5:20 pmI am on my third, very expensive, water pump replacement. Toyota recalls for everything and they should certainly cover this one!!!! It is a design flaw for sure.

RAVI! - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By carman - May 29 - 9:30 amThis SUV rides somewhat firm, but handles like it is on rails. The handling is great, I get the same feel as driving an Accord. Just took a mini road trip and avg mpg was 25, was hoping for better, but would trade for the AWD performance. The AWD system is awesome, have driven in serious snow/ice and feel like I am invincible, unbelievable traction. Plenty of power and tranny is smooth, overall this is a pretty fun vehicle to drive.

Overpowered - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By Eugene - February 7 - 9:26 amIts one the fastest SUVs you can buy, it can go 0-60 in under 7 seconds. It is also a great example why horsepower isnt everything. You hit the gas pedal on your RAV4. Front wheels start to spin. Traction control light comes up. The entire vehicle leans backwards. Finally it lunges ahead, shaking and ignoring the steering wheel input. Theres a lot of passing power, but the vehicle is not designed for high-speed turns and does not feel confident above 80-85 mph. If youre interested in RAV4 V6 because of its power, Sport edition 4WD might be a better choice. Theres no cure for high center of gravity, but stiffer suspension and proper drivetrain should help a bit.

Fun Machine - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By Prashanth - January 12 - 12:26 pmWe bought a Limited v6, 2WD with third row seat. Now that we have been driving it for a week, we love it. Its really zippy, drives and maneuvers like our sedan. The v6 option is really great. The interior is comfortable, the dash design could have been better. Overall a great buy. The negative, we had a very tough time finding one with third row seat. Very few in the market, we had to pick our third choice of color. The options were pathetic. If you pick third row seat you get nothing else. Overall this was a major disappointment.
