  • Awesome Sport Ute Rocket - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Checked out the CRV, the Sante Fe and the Mazda CX 7. After test drives and reviews, wound up with the Rav4 and have not been disappointed. Its an awesome little truck with tons of standard features and typical Toyota quality. Even at the base model you feel youre getting a lot for your hard-earned dollar. Oh, and this thing is fast, even the AWD.

  • I like everything but the gas mileage - 2007 Toyota RAV4

The 6 cyl is awesome and the handling is nice. But there is a lot of air noise and it is not a quiet ride. We now drive the sedan on long trips because of the interior noise. With gas at $4 a gallon, and going up, it may become too expensive to drive. I barely get 24 MPG on the interstate, driving 320 miles round trip, and barely 23 MPG, driving to work, and thats a 40 mile trip on the highway. My dealer told me, there is nothing he can do about the gas mileage if the check engine light is not "on". The ride is "OK" but not great.

  • Great Value and Reliability - 2007 Toyota RAV4

I have had the RAV4 for about 18 months and no problems. A real value and very reliable. MPG, about 23 in town and 28-30 on the highway. Plenty of room and comfort, with plenty of headroom and very little wind and road noise. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power and did not need speeding tickets with the V6 engine. I have a new 2008 Highlander and I call the RAV4 my baby Highlander. Very hard to find fault with.

  • The choice was fairly easy - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Before we started shopping, we had our choice narrowed down to the Rav or the Honda CR-v. After driving each of them, the choice was simple. The Rav was quieter on the highway, less road and wind noise. Takes bumps great, and we hit 70 mph in no time. This is for our daughter in college, so we chose the base model, figuring her friends would probably borrow it, and it would be parked in lots where nicks would be inevitable. If you dont need a moonroof and auto climate control, the base model is fine. She uses the iPod hookup most of the time, so didnt need the 6 disc changer. The radio on the base is plenty good, and still has 6 speakers. 4 cylinder seems to be peppy and very responsive.

  • Gotta love it! - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Have only had 1 week after trading in my 2003 Rav4. What a change! Love the V6 from the old sewing machine 2 Litre. Nice layout from the dash to seats. Bravo Toyota! Even the base stereo deserves a 10 compared to the 2003. Love the moonroof, with hopes of a suntan on the ole cueball.

  • Poor driver leg room - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

Excellent in all aspects particularly the spunky v6 engine which has more spunk than our 06 330 BMW! Leg room for everyone in the car is very spacious except for the driver! I am 511" and my knees have little room. If the seat would just move back another 1-2 inches it would be much more comfortable.

  • Great car - 2007 Toyota RAV4

V6 gets 29 mpg on hwy - fantastic! Gets less than 20 in city traffic. Doesnt live up to the 22 mpg city listed, and I drive like a grandma. Nice upgraded stereo sound, but Im on my 3rd unit - it has a known defect/short that JBL cant seem to fix. Im hoping 3 is a charm. A very comfortable, powerful car. Bluetooth option is nice for hands free cell phone use.

  • More than I expected - 2007 Toyota RAV4

My Rav4 limited v6 is everything I had hoped for and more. Its a hoot to drive with all that smooth power; one has to be careful not to get carried away! No SUV out there can touch it, especially not from the stop light!

The first things that appealed to me were the styling and pricing for the Limited. At first glance, the interior looks well-designed and human-factored. It is overly plastic though, and that detracts greatly from the quality one would expect in a Toyota product. This RAV provides a great ride and good handling. At the bottom of the list of features, and this comes at a bad time, is gas mileage. Im getting right at 20 mpg with a four cyl. engine around town. Six bangers can do much better than that!

  • Great SUV value - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Purchased this RAV after owning a 1998 RAV. So the difference is quite noticeable. This is my daily driver, so I needed 4WD and wanted good/decent gas mileage. The cabin is much larger, both with leg room and shoulder room. Love the look of the Sport (I think it handles tighter with the larger wheels). Gas is about 25 mpg with 80/20 highway/local driving. The road noise is considerably less. The back seat area is spacious, even if youre 62". The 4 cylinder has a nice punch, its not a 6 cyl, but off the line is good with just me in the car. When I test drove the sales guys said that the 6 is too much. Test drove CRV and 07 highlander-liked the RAV better.
