Overview & Reviews
The JBL 3-in-1 audio system has been discontinued, and the sport package receives a unique metal mesh grille and silver sport pedals.
- Steers and handles like a car, thoughtful cabin design, exemplary build and materials quality, ABS and stability control standard, refined and fuel-efficient engine.
- Somewhat cramped interior, high repair costs in low-speed rear collisions, not much off-road ability.

Littlefields RAV Review - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Leslie Littlefield - January 24 - 10:26 amThe only challenge I have with my Rav is that it takes a while to gain power when passing or going uphill.

Loving it! - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Jenns RAV4 - December 12 - 9:53 amIve had my RAV less than a week...but I already love it! I purchased the "L" model with everthing but leather and heated seats. This is a great little suv. The fuel economy is wonderful (Im averaging 25 mpg so far!) and it really is a fun car to drive. Its extremley stylish with room to spare. With Toyotas reliability and great build...how can I not recommend this car?!

Great little SUV.. - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By SweetNeat - September 12 - 3:43 pmI have enjoyed driving again, thanks to my RAV 4. It is just the size for a smaller family. Easy to handle, yet it has power on the road when I need it. Standard features are great and it is a great, powerful, reliable vehicle for the money. If you can love an inanimate object -- I love my RAV 4!

I Love It! - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Happy RAV - August 16 - 3:20 pmI could not be happier. The RAV build quality and handling are tops. I have used it in limited off-road situations, and it has performed decently. For the money, you get a lot of features. Once that 4 cylinder hit 3000 rpm, it goes like a rocket! I am 63" tall and I do not feel cramped at all. I did have to take off the handles above the door on the inside, I hit my head on them sometimes. Overall, I am happy everytime I start this vehicle.

Excellent SUV - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Ann - July 24 - 3:46 amOutstanding performance, especially the "zippy" feel when accelerating. Even though its a four-cylinder, it feels like a six. I love the fact that the rear seats are totally removable.

2 yr. update on my 05 RAV4 - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By harshad - January 13 - 8:03 pmI have my RAV4 for almost 2 yrs now. Its been wonderful so far. 5 speed is a blast to drive, mileage has been between 25 and 28 (city). No problems so far (touch wood). The stock tires are not the best in snow but TC and VSC overcomes the problem. Lots of room after removing back seats.

Awesome Ride - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Michael Daytona - January 6 - 5:56 amI just got this used with 6,612 miles on it. It has the security alarm and L package along with roofrack and moonroof. I love its handling and how easy it is to drive and park, though it looks much bigger than it actually is. I would highly recommend looking at one of these SUVs. The RAV4 is awesome with storage and room as well. The seats can recline, move back or forward or be taken out completely in the rear.
