Really happy with my 2007, excellent handling, very smooth and quiet. Gas is not bad at all for a 4.0 truck.

  • Best SUV ever owned... - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

After 75,000 "absolutely zero" problem miles, I can confidently say this is the best SUV I have ever owned. The global statistics and data speaks for itself. There is no doubt that the 4Runner/Prado/Hilux/etc delivers what it promises. The build quality is solid. There are no rattles, squeaks regardless of driving conditions. The 4x4 capabilities is unlimited. It responds the way you want it to. The interior is dull but it serves its purpose just right. The Koito projector head/fog lights and rear LED perform well. I have never replaced a bulb since I took ownership in 2007. I can never go back to Ford, Chrysler, GM, etc because of quality. Toyota has delivered what it promised me...

A feelling of superb no-nonsense reliable power to pull a big boat and to weather the worst storm.

  • The SUV to replace lesser sport vehcles - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Love my 4Runner. I average ~22 MPG and this has been fantastic in all weather. Living in a hilly part of the southern tier of NY the traction control and amenities are on par with cars costing up to 15K more. Considered the BMW X3 and it was no comparison. The interior space and comfort is fantastic for the money. I have never owned such a comfortable vehicle. Even the little features like the speed adjusting airfoil for the sunoof just make the driving experience and daily use a real pleasure. The control of the rear window is another great feature to help cabin airflow. The cargo mounted mirrors are a great help when backing up in close quarters.

After looking at every SUV out there we decided on the 4Runner mainly because of Toyotas reliability. The back window is great if you have dogs! We love everything about the car. There is one problem that we have found, when we first got the vehicle there was a constant rotten egg smell, it since has gone away for the most part but is still there occasionally. We have tried different grades of gas and nothing seems to help.

  • New 4Runner Fan - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Ive had my new (and first) 4Runner for two months and just finished two long road trips in it. The first was to Idaho (1500 miles round trip) and the second was to Yosemite (700 miles round trip). What a great truck! Ive previously taken my Highlander and Camry on these trips, but the 4Runner is by far the most comfortable way to go. It has a great ride, plenty of room, and averaged between 20 and 26 mpg, depending upon the terrain I was driving in (Ive got the 6 cylinder). Ran the air the whole time since it was middle of summer, and no problems. I read all of the reviews here before I bought, and they were right-on with pros and cons, as Ill detail in the two sections below. Im a fan!

  • Great Ride - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Took awhile to find an SUV that suited my towing needs and that I could live with day to day - found it! I waited for the new Tahoe and once I drove it, the decision was a no-brainer to purchase the 4Runner. Fuel mileage isnt bad either.

  • Luvin it!! - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Although I only just purchased the SR5 model, I love it! I previously had an 01 Explorer - what a difference. The handling is much better and I cant believe that is doesnt feel truckish. So far I seem to be getting really good fuel mileage. I repeat, love this SUV!

  • Great SUV for Off Road and On - 2007 Toyota 4Runner

I love everything about my 07 4Runner. Its bar none the best SUV you can buy if you are interested in driving on and off road. It handles great for everyday driving. In fact, Im getting around 19 MPG! But living in Idaho means I have access to thousands of miles of logging roads, where the 4Runner really performs.

  • 2001 SR5 to a 2007 LTD - 2007 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I traded a 2001 4Runner SR5 for this 07 LTD. I loved the the 01, but the 07 is in a whole other class! Drives great, plenty of power, and the newer styling really looks outstanding! The only problem I had on the 01 was a broken antenna chain. The 07 doesnt have the external antenna so I expect the 07 will never have a problem!
