Overview & Reviews
The four-door, five-passenger Verona is an all-new midsize sedan in the Suzuki lineup. With a standard six-cylinder engine, automatic transmission and ample passenger and cargo room, it's designed to go head-to-head with class-leading vehicles like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
- Smooth inline six-cylinder engine, generous features list for the price, nice interior touches, strong warranty.
- Generic looks, marginal output for six-cylinder engine, no side airbags.

Good Car - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By RallyKoRn - October 19 - 10:00 amThis car really is big. Compared to other sedans, such as the Accord and Camry, this to me was the biggest. The exterior design is okay and its a pleasure to wash. Leather is really nice on road trips as well as the sunroof. Planning on keeping this car for quite a while.

Love the car - hate the gas milage! - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By Cquick - September 16 - 2:00 amLove our Verona - got a great deal. But the gas milage during city commutes is not a good as I had hoped. Seat belts in back are difficult to manuever - but otherwise, look and feel is great.

underestimated car - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By TexasJay - September 12 - 10:00 amJust bought the Verona. I think the engineers copied a 2002 Maxima, which isnt a bad thing. Its very comfortable and drives extremely well. A little better acceloration would be nice, but I dont care if its a second or two behind the new Altimas or Accords. The build quality appears to be no different than Honda, Toyota, or Nissan. My first new car was a 1987 Samurai that went eight years and 120,000+ miles without a problem. Performance is nice, but my main concern is quality and I like this one.

Very Disappointed - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By LaVette - August 9 - 12:26 amIve had my car for a year and I have experienced problems from the time I bought it. The car stalls when you are driving which put me in some dangerous situations. I have taken the car to the dealership 5 times and they can not fix the problem.

Fully loaded beauty - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By selene gordon - August 2 - 8:30 amThese cars are absolutely beautiful. Completely loaded, better than a Camry pricewise, very luxurious inside, lights up like a Jetliner at night. This car is so awesome. I am so glad I found one. I feel very classy in it.

Very Impressed... - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By DOCMITZ - July 31 - 10:00 amTraded 130K Nissan Maxima. I was concerned trading down in horsepower from 255 to 177. Then the thought of saving $12K on new Maxima made me turn the corner. I could not be more impressed. I drove both and while there is quite a difference in get up and go, the Verona drove so much smoother and quieter. Only concern in the back of my mind is Fuzzy Technology Transmission. Needs to get to know me and I need to get to know it. Seems the thing has a brain that reacts to its drivers tendancies. Only time will tell if the savings and value are there, but with a seven year 100,000 mile warranty, no worries and the price is outstanding for a fully loaded model.

outstanding car for the price - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By carlkachauskas - July 19 - 10:00 amComfortable ride; seats four adults very nice; Has very good acceleration; handles well on curvy roads, very little lean or sway; my economy 22 mpg city,28 to 30 mpg hiway; lots of trunk space; average leg room, could be a problem with headroom for anyone over 74 inches in height. I have previously owned two Honda accord EXs and this Verona is equal to and better in most categories. The current Honda EX-V-6 with comparable equiptment cost about 8K to 10K more. I would highly recommend this car over Honda and Toyota.

Transmission problems - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By erica - June 24 - 8:26 amFor the most part the car has been OK. I recently had to replace the transmission in the car. I didnt know until I read the reviews that so many people had their transmission replaced. The tranmission was covered under warranty but the warranty does not cover rentals. My check engine light has been on the entire time that I had the car. The dealerships know that this car is a lemon and they will try not to fix anything on the car. They will keep telling you that there is nothing wrong on your car until it reaches 36,000 miles and then they will tell you everything wrong on it. So be careful and get someone else to look at it. I have lost the security code for the radio.

My Verona - 2004 Suzuki Verona
By James2 - June 12 - 10:00 amI own a 2004 verona, I traded in my 2000 Daewoo Leganza which is basically the same type of car, the Verona has a bunch of std. features on it that you dont usually find on a $17,350 car, such as fullsize spare tire, heated outside mirrors, cruise/tilt and my favorite audio steering wheel controls along with pw,pl, pwr mirrors, the Verona has been in the shop twice, once for the recall of slow acceleration, andf the second was because it seemed like it wanted to stall after starting cold. Both were fixxed and the car runs good, I would reccommend this car to anyone on a budget, who wants a good size car for a small price,I am 64 and 360 lbs and fit well
