  • Good Wagon for the Money - 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Its hard to find a company that isnt discontinuing its wagons in favor of some kind of crossover thing. Suzuki still proudly offers them and I was pleasantly surprised with the price, standard features and styling.

I have owned my 07 Suzuki Forenza for two and a half years and my transmission is having major problems and most likely needs to be replaced. I did have a decent warranty at my time of purchase, but unfortunately my dealer went out of business. I am still trying to figure out where to take my car to get warranty work done at no cost to me. I am very frustrated with Suzuki in general.

Pretty decent vehicle for the price! We have a sunroof and a few of the extras and its a good car. Pretty good fuel consumption compared to my old Ford Taurus and handles pretty well. Find a good deal on it and yeah, good! Good visibility on driving, only a couple blind spots. Have had only one real problem with the car - it didnt start once in P but put it in N in it started.

I purchased this car on Halloween and I love it. It rides really well, its fast and fun to drive. I love the gas mileage I get, especially since gas seems to be going up again. It has ample leg room and a roomy trunk. Its great!

I bought this car new. Since then I had to have my passenger door painted. My windshield wipers are rusted my rear view mirror always has a vibration. Also like many others I had a door handle break. Now every time I drive my car looses the gas my car looses speed. Now it has a leak under the engine as well. This is very unsafe and of course they tell my nothing is wrong with my car. Not reliabe and not safe. Worst car ever I will never buy another Suzuki. Dont waste your money no wonder they dont make these cars anymore.

Im sorry to the people that have had bad luck with this car, but I cant say the same thing. My wife and I bought our car in 2007 and it has about 95000 miles on it now. We have had to replace the tires twice and two of the indoor door handles broke off, but that wasnt the cars fault, that was stupid peoples faults. We just had to put it in the shop and have to have a sensor replaced on the transmission, but besides that, it hasnt given us any problems.

Transmission knocks when it is put in drive (just not when at the dealership), inside door handles break off, my valve cover gasket was leaking, my hood keeps popping open when driving, I keep going through tires after numerous alignments and rotations, and during an oil change when the vehicle was coming down off the lift the struts magically failed. Not a very impressive car. I do not recommend buying this car. Biggest mistake that I have made, should have spent a little more money on a Honda

Ok, so continuing from back in Sept, my car went back in again to the dealer for a 3rd time replacing the transmission sensor for a second time on 10/12/09 and also had a drivers seat ordered as the lumbar is broken. Well to date, no call yet that the seat is in and we are now in December and the car still rides like it has a hesitation. Suzuki rep has decided not to return calls as well. Its no wonder they stopped making this car. They are nothing but junk!! Transmission should have been changed according to other mechanics, but Suzuki doesnt want to honor the warranties!! Rip offs!!

  • DOOR Handles - 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Ive had my 2007 Forenza for a year now, it runs good and gets good gas milage but 2 of my door handles have allready broken off and i treat my car very good, both broke on the inside of the car, i think that this is a defect in the materials. whats the chance of breaking off two of them?

  • This Car has been Good to Me - 2007 Suzuki Forenza

Yes, this is a cheap car, but I paid a cheap price. I got what I paid for. Never a break down, always reliable, NO problems at all and I have driven this car hard since Nov 2006 when I bought brand new. I didnt know there was a recall on seat belts, was not notified. Guess I should check on that. I have never had one single problem. Not sure why everyone else is.
