Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Suzuki Forenza carries over largely unchanged.
- Lots of standard features, spacious cabin with plenty of storage, available wagon model.
- Below-average fuel economy, leisurely acceleration on models with the automatic transmission, sloppy handling, lack of refinement, discouraging IIHS crash test scores.

2007 Suzuki Forenza - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By BB - May 22 - 7:20 pmI needed a car that was reliable and I didnt have to spend a fortune on. While browsing for a few days I came across this car that only had 8500 miles on it for $9980. One reason for the price drop was they dealer took the stock rims off and replaced them with 15 inch black rims with hubcaps on them. That was alright with me though because I can always replace that. My Forenza is a manual transmission and unlike what other reviews have said on some Forenzas mine accelerates perfectly fine. The one and only complaint so far that I have about this car is that if the tires pressure is not perfect I get a light on in the car because of the TPMS. Overall though, good car so far!

door handles break - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By doggett - May 17 - 4:06 pmI love this car EXCEPT that the door handles have broken 3 times!!! And, the paint on my door handles is peeling off! We bought this 2007 model in 2008 with a new full warranty, so the door handles have been replaced for free each time. But, it is a pain to schedule and appointment to have it done. Also, I feel like the dealership thinks Im crazy and that I am actually abusing the door handles and breaking them. But, I am paying the bill each month and I expect it to work properly. I must say I am very happy with this car- especially the air conditioning, speed and gas mileage. I was worth every penny!!

Piece of Junk - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By matt - April 17 - 6:50 amMy 07 Forenza only starts when it wants to, the check engine light comes on all the time, and it has a very bad trade in value! Say no to Suzuki!

scared to depend - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By marline - March 13 - 10:43 pmI bought this car so that I would be able to go home when I wanted to. 4 hour drive. Now Im afraid to go that far. Transmission sensor was just replaced today, still feel a small hiccup though. Not sure what that was. Tires were defective when I purchased the car, but the dealership says that theres nothing wrong with them. Started shaking at 60 mph a month ago I was informed that car was just out of line. I have to admit though, my dealership is awesome about getting it in and getting it fixed. I just Wonder when theyll get tired of it. Oh back door just started sticking as well. No one uses that door. Hmm! Does anyone else pay higher insurance because of the safety rating on this car.

Never Thought I would Like a Suzuki - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By KDawg - March 4 - 9:50 amI bought this car for my 60 mile one way commute to work. I only bought it because it was cheap as it was a 2007 I bought in 2008 from a new dealership. At this point I would definitely reccomend this car to anyone. It has decent pickup (No race car) great highway mileage, and has cruise, cd, MP3, A/C and the works. No reliability issues either. I am still a truck guy, but for a compact, I love my Forenza.

Interior Problems - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By Gladys - October 26 - 12:23 amMe and my husband bought this car in 2007 and was very satisfy at first. Later, our door handles start falling off, we took it to the dealer to be repaired, and they told us this problem was not under warranty. At this point, we are very dissatisfied.

Good Buy - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By David - October 7 - 2:13 amI will have to say that despite all of the negative reviews on the gas milleage, mine does great. I usually get 25 mpg which is a giant step up from a SUV that only got 16-17 mpg. I mainly drive city too. The car is inexpensive b/c thats how it was built. So naturally there are downsides to it. The one I hate the most is the paint wearing out on most everything on the interior. It just would have been better to leave it the grey or tan plastic colors undernear. There is one more thing I dont like -- whenever I start it up and immediately shift gears, it will "jump" really quick and then will return to normal. Other than the above complaints, its been a great car so far.

my daughter hates this car!!! - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By lisa - September 2 - 12:50 amwe bought this car for our daughter in 6/07 with 23 miles, she nows hates this car we have had 3 bent rims , vibrations, repainted door handles, transmission jerking, gas light indicator out, plus several different other things wrong the old saying you get what you pay for is definitely true in the case of this car..very disappointing to make such a big purchase and it turn out to be such a lemon, it is cute, roomy ,comfortable and fairly reasonable on gas but we would NEVER by another suzuki. Good Luck to everyone

Get rid of it - 2007 Suzuki Forenza
By Sherrie - August 4 - 3:23 pmI was doing quite nicely with this car for about 1.5 years. Then the transmission started slipping. Dealer did diagnostic, found nothing. No Check Engine light ever came on. They unplugged battery to reset computer. Didnt work. Said was Transmission Range Sensor probably. So I bought the part for $60. Had a mechanic friend put it in as dealer wanted $230. Took 1/2 hour. Ran fine for about 20 miles then it slipped out of Drive and wont go back in. Its been sitting in my driveway. Dealer is clueless. Suzuki wont talk to you. I bought this car because it was in the cheapest price range I could afford at the time. I have learned my lesson. My inside door handle broke too.
