  • Dirt Road Commuter - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

I almost bought a Subaru RS instead of my Suzuki Aerio. Im glad that I didnt. I saved a bucket of cash and now own the best mountain dirt road long distance commuter Ive ever had. I am still in the honeymoon stage though. Give me some time to be more objective.

  • Could have been better - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

While it is fun to drive, the sound system needs upgrade in speaker placement and sound quality. The cup holders in the front only hold a 12 oz can securely. Anything else will spill all over when accelerating or braking. The seats are comfortable even over long distances. Im very disappointed with the gas mileage. Im getting only 22 mpg. A little car like this should get more like 30 mpg. Perhaps a larger fuel tank so it will go farther. The new Camaro gets better mileage. Cargo area is excellent and the area under the floor is very convenient.

  • Love My Car - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

This car is a blast to drive. I have doubled my driving distance since buying this car because it is so much fun to drive. I find I drive it a little to fast but I love to drive it fast. Im 63 and would recommend this car to any age. Such a shame they didnt do better advertising on this car, it would have out sold a lot of other cars if it had gotten more air time. The only car I have ever owned that I loved as much as this one was my 1961 Red Austin Healy. My SX is red not as fast as fast as the Austin Healy but just as much fun to drive!

  • Great Car - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

I had a couple of TSBs to take care of on my Suzuki Aerio, but since then the car has been great! I am getting better than the rated mpg and I love the amount of room it has for such a small car. The interior is a little weak or "cheap," but the rest of the car seems great.

  • Decent car, great value - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

I purchased my Suzuki Aerio new for just over $15k. I drove it until the fall of 2008 when I went to a Nissan Frontier. I put almost 50k catastrophe-free miles on it, and believe I got more than my moneys worth. Though not as refined or well-designed as its competition, the Aerio is a terrific value and, at least in my case, a reliable, versatile vehicle. If you can deal with its quirks, and dont mind a rough ride, its definitely worth a look. I dont regret going to a pickup, but I do miss the fuel economy of the Aerio. My mother has the car now, and has been using for over a year with no issues; the AWD is a great safety feature, and a real plus here in snowy N

The car has had numerous rattles and trim defects, but has been otherwise reliable. It has fabulous fuel economy, up to 40 mpg with the five speed manual transmission.

20 mpg around town 25 mpg on the highway , mystery rattle in the center of the dash in cold weather ? Moans like my old 48 Chrysler when going over a hump .stock tires stink 2 of 4 are square ! All in all its a nice little care & got a great deal.

  • Suzuki Aerio for Fun and Economy - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

I LOVE my Aerio. I bought it to combat $3.00/gallon gas but have discovered a new fun and exciting driving experience. Its quicker and less expensive than the competition with more amenities.

  • Very good - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

The Suzuki Aerio is a very good small car. It gets 27 mpg average on highways and 24 mpg city.

  • 2006 Aerio SX AWD - 2006 Suzuki Aerio

My Aerios gas mileage started out low at about 20 mpg highway, but after 3,000 miles its up to 25 mpg. So far this car has been very dependable! I receive compliments on its comfort and style from lots of people.
