  • Subaru built great cars - 2005 Subaru Legacy

Bought the 2.5 GT wagon in April. So far love the car. Fun to drive. Very well designed and built. Gas mileage not the best plus needs premium. Managed to reach 27 mpg on highway. Main annoyance is the remote that is poorly designed and too sensitive. Car locks and unlocks when it is in my pocket. Brakes started vibrating after 50 miles. Subaru fixed them at no charge. Same vibration starting again at 6900 miles.

This hands down is the best car I`ve ever had. I love they design of the car it is really aggressive. It definitely turns heads by its look.

  • Now I love to drive - 2005 Subaru Legacy

Needing a four wheel drive vehicle, but wanting a sedan and not spending a fortune I chose the Legacy GT LTD. I do love driving this car. As a point of reference I do a lot of highway driving up mountains and going uphill I average 28 mpg, 31 mpg downhill, both with A/C on. A recent downhill trip without A/C proved 34 mpg.

I live in Northern NY, snow covered curvy, mountainous roads. I love the way the car handles and brakes.

Thus far it has proved itself to me. It is great in the snow and just a fun car to drive. People have commented on the "great looking" car for months now. The mileage is better than I anticipated unless you horse around with the accelerator. It is well built and well designed and I like the way it handles. After considering several vehicles from BMW and others in the same price range I chose this excellent AWD Subaru. I had been a Saab owner since 1973.

  • What A Car! - 2005 Subaru Legacy

Just leased a black GT limited in manual transmission. Love it! This car is so much fun to drive - especially in the stick. We looked at the 3 series Bimmer, Audi A4, Nissan Maxima, and other sporty sedans and they could not touch this car for power. Might get better handling in a German car but would have to pay several thousand more. I now look forward to my commute.

  • Almost perfect - 2005 Subaru Legacy

Almost a year and a half and zero problems. Fast and fun. My second subie, my first turbo. This is not your typical wagon, thats for sure. Handles great, even in winter months. The Bridgestone re92 stock tires are all right - nothing great yet decent all around. Rarely have anyone in back seats so cannot comment on leg room. Dash layout is great and good looking. Tons of room. Can put just about anything in this car. The ride can be a little rough for someone with a bad back on longer trips but its a GT and is supposed to have a stiff suspension so you cannot complain about things like that. All around A++.

  • SUBARU GT LTD LEGACY - 2005 Subaru Legacy
    By -

This is my third Subaru, and the best. Previously had 1999 Outback, 2002 Outback and now 05 GT Limited Legacy. This is by far the most fun to drive car I have owned. I have had quite a few people ask me about my car, and highly recommend it.

This is by far the best car I have ever owned. I have not had any mechanical problems what so ever and I bought a demo that had 3900 miles on it. I live in Minneapolis and it responds to the cold very well and handles awesomely. I really do love it.
