Overview & Reviews
A four-cylinder version of the XE slots into the 2008 Saturn Aura lineup as the entry-level model. Stability control becomes standard on V6-equipped XE models. All Saturn Auras come with satellite radio this year, and the trip computer gains an instant fuel economy meter. The Convenience Package now includes an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
- Potent and refined powertrain in XR model, balanced ride and handling, attractive design inside and out, roomy seating for all.
- Some ergonomic gaffes and subpar cabin materials, no rear center armrest, lifeless steering.

Great car - 2008 Saturn Aura
By dirtytoliet - March 6 - 2:26 pmWe had a 2008 Saturn Vue and had problems so I took it back before the 30 day return was up and got an Aura. Best move I ever made on a car. The ride is great and if you turn the track control off you can leave smoke with the tires. Many people think its a Honda. And it cost many thousands less than a Camry.

Great Car - 2008 Saturn Aura
By gregtwelve - February 27 - 11:20 amI needed to replace my wifes 8 year old Maxima. Always liked the looks of the Aura since it came out. With the new GM incentives I decided to take a drive. It is an impressive car in every way. It is smoother and more refined than the Maxima it replaced, the ride is much better and it is much more quiet. It has tons more features and was still $3000 cheaper than the Maxima was eight years ago! I cannot get over how great looking this car is in white.

Its a strong buy - 2008 Saturn Aura
By jb - January 13 - 8:50 amDollar for dollar the Saturn Aura is an outstanding car. The lines of the exterior really look like a more expensive car. We drove the XR and found that there was too much torque and HP for our needs. Also, drove the Malibu. Chevy has more interesting interiors, but, the people at Saturn seem a bit more consumer friendly. The inline 4 has good power and the sound and vibration damping are really well done.
