This is easily the best vehicle that I have driven for the price I paid. This Pontiac is an indication of the great quality GM vehicles now have.

  • Didnt like it - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

we bought the Vibe used with 23,000 miles on it.when the tranny went in my van. big size difference. i liked the fact that it sat up high, but there wasnt much passenger room. had little nickle and dime things go wrong with it everytime i turned around. went through breaks often, the power windows died on thedrivers side open in a rain storm. the trim around the front passenger side door was a rusted mess ( yes rusted at 35,000 miles. the seals on th doors stuck and the seatbelts were constantly locking tight on you. the drivers belt would release but everybody else had to constantly rebuckle. yes it had an electric plug in it but for what? not enough power to it.

  • Great Cargo Area! - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

Bought this car for its resale value / reliability, gas mileage and cargo space. 100% satisfaction with these features. Bonus: we got rear-ended at 45 mph and walked away from the totaled vehicle without a scratch..... were going to buy another one.

I was a very happy VW driver but we needed more room without a huge new monthly payment (new dad). The Vibe fit all our stuff and still has room to spare. Better fuel economy was a plus and the little things like a roof rack and storage spaces everywhere helped make this decision easy. Also, safety ratings and recommendations from the web and Consumer Reports were what we wanted to hear. The Vibe handles well and offers a lot of car for a fair price.

  • Downsizing to a Vibe - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

A lot of utility & Ill never lose it in a parking lot (Fusion Orange Metallic). Cargo floor rattles sometimes. Great gas mileage (30.2 mpg for 1st 3600 miles) Wheel doesnt tilt enough & I cant move the seat closer w/o bumping my knee. It is a lot of fun & the moons & tunes pkg. is a kick; but I miss the power of my 2000 Intrigue.

  • My first 30k miles in a vibe - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

A true multi pupose vehical with a great fuel milage. 30,000 miles in one year at 32+ mpg saved a lot of coinage. No need for a pickup truck. It carried everything I needed and more. Three kids in the back seat, skis on the roof. See favorite features. What can I say, Just plain fun to drive.

  • Love my Vibe - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

I researched this car for two months before I finally bought one. I fell in love with the way it looked while I was test driving some Fords. I thought I might be less than satisfied with a 4- cylinder, but it more than makes up for that. It handles great and is fun to drive.

  • 2004 vibe replaced a gt mustang conv ? - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

this vibe replaced a 97 gt mustang conv for fuel mileage and dependability dealership sucked but overall pleased with purchase and value

Great ride and great looks. Lots of head room and leg room for passengers but for a tall driver, the "dead pedal" for the left foot is annoying and forces my foot into an uncomfortable position. Long rides are sometimes a chore because of this arrangement. Lots of cargo space and the rear window opening is fantastic for loading & unloading groceries. All in all, I would buy this vehicle again without hesitation. I just wish that they would get rid of that "dead pedal".......
