The 2004 GTO is an all-new rear-wheel-drive performance car from Pontiac. Although it is new to the U.S. market, it is based on a car sold by GM's Australian subsidiary, Holden, under the Monaro nameplate.

  Great car. And the best part of it is that there are not many on the road. You can upgrade it w/ supercharger up to 500hp w/o problems and use it as everyday.

  I love this car, it handles well, its a torque monster, the engine note reminds me of the cars from my youth, and the interior is outstanding Pontiac and the Aussies got it right! I have driven my GTO from L.A. to Las Vegas twice what a blast (26MPG) I had the car up to 110MPH and I had plenty of pedal left. Ive had my GTO for 6 months and at least 2 times a week someone tells me how cool the car looks and sounds, bland exterior I dont think so. I just saw the 05 Goats at a local dealer and I dont like the hood-scoops. I have only seen 3 other GTOs on the road in 6 months but I see at least 10 to 20 Stangs a day on the road. Pontiac has brought the Muscle back to Muscle car.

  I bought my GTO a few months ago and I love it. I have been a hardcore Camaro guy for some years now and I am happy with my change. It runs great and the interior layout is perfect for my taste. For the enthusiast who enjoys working on their own car the GTO has plenty of room under the hood to work. Great car!!!

  This is my first GTO--the car was more than I could have hoped for. Pictures dont do this car justice. Its comfortable, fast, and looks good. This owner gives the 04 GTO two thumbs up. I am a large framed person, over 300 pounds and I fit in the car with no problems. Plenty of room for me and passengers. I would by another but I we get snow here in Ohio and sports cars dont do well in the snow. I have not had the chance to get this car on the track but I will the first opportunity I get!

  Its a complete joyride everytime I get behind the wheel. This is the smoothest manual trans - shifting is smoother than on some automatics Ive driven! The power is simply amazing. Granted, the fuel economy is not the best. But I have no problem paying an extra visit to Chevron... driving the GTO is an incredible experience. I think I need a cigarette... :)

  I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR 6 WEEKS. I LOVE THIS CAR. I HAUL NEW CARS FOR A LIVING, AND WHEN I HAULED ONE OF THESE. I NEW I HAD TO HAVE ONE.A SILVER 6 SPEED BLUR ON THE ROAD. THIS CAR WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO REVIVE MY YOUTH AGAIN. MY WIFE EVEN LOVES IT. SHE DID NOT LIKE MY VETTE. ITS LIKE VIAGRA FOR THE STREET. ANYONE LOOKING FOR A REAL RUSH SHOULD CONSIDER THIS CAR. ANYONE I LET DRIVE IT, CANNOT BELIEVE THE POWER. IT HAS THE BEST HORSE POWER TO DOLLAR RATIO YOU CAN GET.AS FAR AS THE STEREO IS CONCERNED, I WOULD RATHER HEAR THE MOTOR PLAY!!!

  This car is awesome! Bought in Nov 2004, it just gets better all the time. It looks like a grownups car, drives (and sounds) like a teenagers car. Interior is roomy and extremely comfortable -- 2 day road trip with 4 adults was great (mildly annoying getting in and out of back seat). Best road trip car Ive ever had -- ride is smooth and all the power you need. Took it through the mountains in Colorado and never felt so safe -- barely touched the brakes going down -- mostly downshifted. Getting on the highway is like taking off in a lear jet. Drive it once and youre hooked!

  Ive only owned my 04 GTO for a little over a week now, but have loved them ever since they re-released them. In this short time, Ive come to the solemn reality that this is the best car Ill ever own! Everything about the way the car drives, handles, accelerates, brakes, was designed to perfection. Everyday I make a boring drive to a boring job, but Im smiling ear-to-ear both to and from! My GTO is black, with black windows and black rims- very sleek. Anytime Im just cruising around, I constantly see people turning their heads to watch me drive by and listen to the wonderful low rumble. I havent pinpointed it yet- but there is just something about this car that is just menacing.
