Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Xterra gets a few minor upgrades for 2007. Mud guards are now standard on all 4X4 models, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and sunglasses holder are now standard on Off-Road models, and body side moldings are now standard on SE models.
- One of the most powerful V6s in the class, above average off-road capability, ample passenger room, innovative cargo features.
- Still not what we would call refined on the street, lots of hard plastic in the cabin.

junk - 2007 Nissan Xterra
By karenkaren3693 - December 1 - 3:48 pmMy daughter bought a 2007 Xterra brand new in 2007 which I now drive. As far as I am concerned Nissan made a piece of junk. The fcu went out at 29,000 then the battery had to be replaced at 32,000 now the fuel line pops off the fuel pump. This has happened twice.Nissan wants 450.00 to replace a 1.97 plastic piece. You couldnt give me the keys to 20 of them.

Expensive Junk - 2007 Nissan Xterra
By Larry Alcoke - June 10 - 7:30 pmBest way to describe this vehicle. Poor fuel mileage, hurricane winds come through cabin in winter freezing you, need to make a standing date every other week to take in for repairs, trim paint coating is water colors washes off, dont use a car wash even if standing 5 ft away will wash coating off trim, poor warranty coverage regarding such. TPMS is junk. stock tires & brakes are junk wear out way to soon, no not from hard use or poor inflation. Was not my choice but couldnt convince wife much better vehicles on market. Nissan refuses to talk to you if you call them about a problem. Better buy is Hyundai Santa FE by far. Poor drive ratio for engine size, wrong tran. Heat & defrost junk.
