This Year's Model Updates:

The 5.6-liter V8 engine has been re-rated for 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque in the 2007 Nissan Titan, but actual performance is unchanged. A couple of new options packages have also been added.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

  • 3 years of Titan Joyfullness - 2007 Nissan Titan

I have had my titan for 3 full years now and I love it. I have owned many cars and this is my second truck. I have been almost AMAZED at how reliable my Titan has been. I have almost 60k miles and really havent had a single thing wrong with it. Every american made car or truck I have owned has been a mechanics dream since I always had them in the shop. I just had to write and tell everyone how great my 2007 Titan has been over the years. I would highly recommend this truck to any buyers who are looking for a used truck.

Annoyances: Goodyear SRA tires were toast after 15k miles. Air conditioner compressor stays on until the ignition is turned off. Over-all climate control not good. Brakes are under sized and rotors need replacing often. At 61 K miles drivers side axle seal started leaking. At 70 K miles Passenger side started leaking. Reported to NTSB per Titanclub Website. Called 800-Nissan and their customer service was terrible and wouldnt lift a finger to help me even though many, many other people have the same problem. Now my drivers side seal is leaking again at 120 K miles.

  • Titan - Drive the BEST - 2007 Nissan Titan

This is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned. I cant complain about the fuel economy, because thats not why I purchased the Titan. In reality, its not that bad considering the powerful engine. Im getting the same fuel economy that I had with my 2001 Nissan Xterra, which was a V6, and the Titan is far superior.

  • Manufacture Support lacking - 2007 Nissan Titan

I have mixed feeling about my Titan ownership experience. I have had 3 batteries replaced in a truck with only 63k on it. I was working with Alice from Nissan and she advised no help would be provided even though the last battery was purchased about 2 years ago. Nissan will prorate however at the cost of $80. They take the position this is normal and haven’t identified anything wrong with it. The take away is the lack of support from the manufacture, so keep this in mind when making your purchase.

  • Awesome Truck - 2007 Nissan Titan

Former Tundra owner here and happy to be so. The Titan is simply an awesome vehicle performance wise & fun wise. Its also twice the vehicle that my troublesome Tundra ever was. I have 3200 miles on my new Titan with 2500 of those coming over the holiday on a family trip last week. I purchased the LE & it has surpassed expectations. We had a trouble free, comfortable trip in the Titan & our three Toddlers fit easily & comfortably in the back seat with not one complaint about comfort the entire time. The Titan has endless power, a luxury car-like ride & little wind noise. Thats saying a lot, since we drove into some winds that exceeded 30mph on our trip. The Titan is just a fantastic truck!

This is the best truck I have ever owned. Never a problem. 41000 so far with nothing more than tires and oil. Passing 2 mini-vans and a rig on a two lane road all at the same time is not a concern. I haul 2-3 dirtbikes all the time, love the utility bed. I have also towed a couple of 6000+ lb travel trailers with dirtbikes and firewood at 75 mph. This truck hauls with plenty of power. A little wide for off-roading(if you like your paint), but it will go almost anywhere. I rated fuel mileage high because this is a truck with power, it takes fuel to make 6000 lbs go 80 mph. Driving the Titan is very comfortable. The captains chairs feel like a Lazyboy. I have had 3 other Nissan trucks and a Z.

  • Tough but Fragile - 2007 Nissan Titan

As much as I love my Titan, my comfort has been a bit shattered. The service advisers at the dealership are great but they have been unable to figure out the reason for my constant radiator failures. I am currently on number 3. The radiator is definitely of poor design, but as long as it remains under the extended warranty Ill continue to bring it in. This truck has great potential.

  • Love My TITAN - 2007 Nissan Titan

I looked at all the full sized trucks for six months and decided on the Titan. This is by far the best truck I have had the pleasure of owning. I used to be a brickmason and have owned Dodge, Chevy (GMC) and Ford. This truck more than meets all my expections. I tried out Toyota, Chevy, Ford and Dodge and found that for the money you cant beat the Titan. I love smoking the Hemi Dodges at the red lights. I will probably never own anything but a Nissan.

  • Great Truck - 2007 Nissan Titan

This truck has insane raw horsepower. It pulls my boat great, has plenty of leg room for kids/groceries. It looks great too. I have had issues with the clearcoat due to lovebugs (acidic bug in the southern US for yankee readers).

Nissan has really kept stepping up to the game with the new Titan. There isnt anything I dont like about this truck.
