This Year's Model Updates:

The 5.6-liter V8 engine has been re-rated for 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque in the 2007 Nissan Titan, but actual performance is unchanged. A couple of new options packages have also been added.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

  • Second Titan - 2007 Nissan Titan

My review title says it all. This is my second Titan. I owned a 2004 SE King Cab and now a 2007 SE Crew Cab. The only complaint on the King Cab was not enough room. And gas mileage, of course. But as another rater mentioned, if I wanted good gas mileage I wouldve bought a smaller truck or a Honda Ridgeline. YUK!!! Interior room is great and the new iPod accessory hook up is great. No complaints.

Handles nimbly, almost like a car, no drifting. Very quiet and very smooth transmission. Excellent pick-up. I have owned 4 Toyotas and this is my first Nissan. Well see what happens in 200K miles, though others say 300K with Nissans is no problem. Much better looking than the 08 Tundra and more affordable for me. My advice would be to drive both over the weekend and corner them hard and over the tracks. I think youll like the handling of the Titan. I love mine.

In the market for a new truck to replace 5.2 L Dakota. Tried new Dakota and Tundra to rule out Titan 5.6L 4x4. Cant rule it out even if it is larger than needed. Its a truck...believe me!

I have about 39000 on my trunk now and it has been a good truck. The only problem i have had is the heater control switch will not move to thefull open position and the only way to six it is to take the hole dash off. So i just keep it at 80% and it is enough to keep me warm and the only other thing is the driver side door handle trim is coming off. I drive in the snow everyweekend on my way snowboarding, I still have a brand new set of of Tire chains i bought when i got the truck and they still have never been out of the boxes. Love the truck.

  • Incredible Truck - 2007 Nissan Titan

Its now 2015, and I have 150K miles on my Titan LE Crew Cab Offroad 4x4. My truck was finally killed this weekend by a rogue tow hitch that my wife struck while driving on the freeway. The thing went under the car and bounced up into the transmission. Busted a hole and destroyed the whole thing. May it rest in peace. However, until that rogue tow hitch, that truck did everything I ever asked of it with ease. Drove from So. Cal. to Montana more times than I can remember and it was an easy 20 hour drive in that Titan. I towed trailers, drove through snowstorms, up icy roads, loaded the bed up with wood and more. I never babied that truck, it never needed to be babied.

The day after I bought my Titan in August of 2006 it developed a rattle in the dashboard. I have had it back in two times but it still rattles. The second week the overhead console compartments would not close and had to have the console replaced. The original had a temp and compass function, the dealer replaced it with one that did not have these functions. Back to the dealer again for the right one. By the end of the first month the weather stripping on the rear sliding window began to come off as did the WS on the doors. Now the transmission is leaking copious amts of fluid in my driveway, front end rattles and shakes so badly cant drive it. Checking in to trade for a Ford.

  • Great truck - 2007 Nissan Titan

Great truck especially for a suburbanite type. Design reflects thoughtful analysis of how a customer actually uses the truck. I compared with an F150 loaded up and the Titan LE definitely provided more features and at a lower price. I use the utilitrack and the exterior toolbox. Love the exhaust note! Nissan did a great job with the balance of power in the endurance v8 too. It also has a power rear window.

I have been driving my nissan for exactly one year and I still enjoy every moment spent in it. It has so far met all my expectations. I feel I will never get rid of this one!

A great daily driver with the ability to become the weekend toy hauler as well. Power seems never ending, great looking exterior with very functional interior. The cab seems almost as big as prior truck, F250 crew, but the drivability is much easier. Ive seen complaints on cloth interior but it met my expectations. Cant complain about mpg, I get what I expected - around 15, mixed (60 hwy, 40 city). Tempting to use the gas pedal for fun though!
