This Year's Model Updates:

Crew cab models receive a standard power up/down rear window with defroster, while all models get a tailgate with dampened assist. Other changes include new active head restraints for the driver and front passenger, new badging on the front doors and a unique wheel finish for SE models. The LE receives brushed aluminum interior trim accents and a leather-appointed bench seat is available in place of the buckets. The popular spray-in bedliner is now available as a stand-alone option on the XE.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

I have been a Ford truck driver for 30 years. When it came time to replace my F-150 xlt I did my homework and read-up and researched every truck that was in my buying zone. Nothing could beat the TITAN 4X4 for the money, I am one totally satisfied buyer.

I have owned my Titan since November, the Titan is a 10. The interior is very functional and spacious, it is almost impossible to use all the interior space. With 5 adults there was additional leg room for both the front and rear seat passengers. Even with the offroad package the truck rides smooth. The Driver Memory system with the power adjustable pedals makes it easy for my wife to drive. The dash is easy to read and driver friendly. Powerful truck and everyone I have let drive it says they must have one. Nissan has really done it this time.

Having owned an F-150 for the past 11 years I decided to try the Nissan and after one test drive decided it was time to switch. The roominess, power, roar of the engine,(if you want totally quiet, buy a luxury car), its great to put the foot down and hear that roar but then quiet when normal driving, no wind noise. Getting 15 MPG driving around Houston. Get the optional Bed Package that has the compartment on the left rear side of the bed and back-up sensors.

I purchased the Texas edition Titan and i have enjoyed the truck to the max since i have had it. It is quite the head turner and many have said that it is way better than any other truck that is currently out. My father had just purchased a 2005 F-150 and was very dissapointed that he could have gone with a Nissan for cheaper and way more features than he has on his truck the only time i have taken it to the dealer was for the oil change and to get that problem with the brakes fixed. Other than that the truck performs and drives better than any other truck i have driven.

WHILE I ENJOY THE NISSAN TITAN, I FIND THAT WHEN THIS VEH. GOES INTO LOW IDLE THAT I GET QUITE A BIT OF ENGINE NOISE. DEALER STATES THAT THIS IF FROM THE INJECTORS FIRING. IT GETS PRETTY LOUD AND IRRATATING AT TIMES. FOR SUCH A QUALITY BUILT VEH., I FEEL THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT NISSAN NEEDS TO LOOK INTO. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN, BUT HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONSE BACK FROM THEM.

Great handling truck. Have had it 120 mph on the interstate to pass a few 18 wheelers and had to do a real hard left to not hit the back of another 18 wheeler and on a 2 lane interstate - well I never had to worrry about rolling it or losing it. It just stuck to the road, and with the Goodyear SRA oem tire - go figure. Could have done a better job on the brakes for sure.

This is the first vehicle that I have owned that has me loving to drive again. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever ridden in, the captains chairs feel like lazy boys, and the vehicle rides like a car. It nearly floats over bumps, not like trucks of old that would shake you to death every bump you hit. All in all this is an awesome vehicle much better than the 04 and 05 F-150s.

This is my first second full size truck, my first a GMC Sierra. This vehicle is in its own world. Fantastic to drive, reliable so far, ride and comfort are incredible for a truck. Ive used both four wheel drive and without in snow storms just to see how well the vdc and traction control work with no complaints. Great vehicle that I have shown to many friends and coworkers. Three have bought their own.

My Titan is an 04 purchased 3/05 . I have about 1500 miles on this truck and have a few comments a buyer might be interested in. Performance is great . This truck gets it. Very quick and handles well. My first impression of the steering is that it takes more power to turn the steering wheel than my former ford or chevy truck. Brakes dirty up the front wheels with black dust.I have a rattle in the dash. Gas milage is about where I expected it. About 12 in town and about 15 or 16 on the hwy. The exaust noise is barly perceptable on the hwy .The radio quality of sound poor on FM but the sound quality of the cd player is great. Radio light reflect on rear glass through the rear view mirror.
