This Year's Model Updates:

Crew cab models receive a standard power up/down rear window with defroster, while all models get a tailgate with dampened assist. Other changes include new active head restraints for the driver and front passenger, new badging on the front doors and a unique wheel finish for SE models. The LE receives brushed aluminum interior trim accents and a leather-appointed bench seat is available in place of the buckets. The popular spray-in bedliner is now available as a stand-alone option on the XE.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

Just an awesome truck, great power, great looks and towing. I had this thing in deep mud up to bottom of doors while hauling a bobcat, never even slowed down.

This truck is awesome. Blows the doors off of hemis and everything else. I get 18.5 Mpg. Six can fit easily. Can tow anything you can hook to it. Brakes are a weak point

Allthough Ive only had this vechile for a couple months I love it. I had a 04 F150 glad its gone many trips to the shop in the 1.5 years of ownership. The Nissan is very well thought out, fun to drive, power out the kazoo, plus comfort on long trips. I"m confident you will enjoy every moment in this vechile. Plus Team Nissan folks are the best.

My wife and I really liked our Titan. When towing our 30 Ft. travel trailer we had an accident from the swaying stability when I was passing a semi. once I got by him all hell broke loose. Totaled my truck and travel trailer. there wasnt any one hurt only minor cuts and bruises. So we were very well protected.

  • Love the Titan!!! - 2005 Nissan Titan

I love this truck. It averages 16-19 mpg if I keep my foot out it, which is hard to do. The BAD consumer reports article is false, just go to the Titan web sites and visit with truck owners. I also love the 100k bumper to bumper warranty buy up and the standard 6-60k drive train warranty. The truck is tight and fun to drive. I pull a bass boat and the 9500 lb. tow capacity rivals the 3/4 ton domestics.

Great family, work, and weekend truck. Nice smooth ride like a luxury car and power like a sports car.

  • Great truck...even though - 2005 Nissan Titan

I love my truck. I did not realize how much I enjoyed it until I had to be without it. The window regulator broke this past Sunday. Window dropped to the bottom of the door. Not so good for a new vehicle. Gas milage is poor, power is great. Truck can tow every bit of 9100 lbs with package, as advertised. I have put it to great use towing what ever. BVery easy to control and manuver. Get compliments all the time. More storage than one will need. Plenty of room for my 18 mo. old sons car seat, and still have 2 adults in the rear. If only the satilite radio feature was not $320.00. Then Id be 100% happy.

This truck is awesome. Ive always been in the import scene with sporty coupes and sedans, this is a truck that has the same appeal. This is the third vehicle Ive owned in about the last 6 months (01 Lexus IS300, 2002 Nissan XTerra, and now a Titan) and Im pretty sure Ill hold onto this one for a long time!

  • 18 mpg highway, not in my truck - 2005 Nissan Titan

I wish nissan would have been up front about mpg, this truck is killing me in fuel. However this truck has more power then i will ever need. its been to the shop for few defects already, something I did not expect from a nissan product. I am also on my third set of tires after only 32,000 miles. I am thinking about trading it in for a toyota.

  • Real world report - 2005 Nissan Titan

Having owned this truck for about a year I can say it is overall great. My real world gas mileage is 16.9mpg. and that is no typo. I drive the speed limit and dont stick my foot in it - love that exhaust note. A pickup truck is built primarily as a cargo hauler and I couldnt be happier with this function. Interior comfort is also first class - better seats than my wifes Lexus.
