I like my pathfinder other than the gas mileage and the 6 disc radio gives me trouble in cold weather. Its a very comfortable ride with lots of room. Goes excellent in the snow.

Great vehicle! Its powerful, comfortable, and fun to drive. Its excellent in the snow. Its also great looking. This is the third Nissan I have owned in a row. Ive never had to do anything but change the oil every 3000 miles.

I bought this SUV new in 2004 and Ive never had one problem with it. Ive only had to replace the normal things that wear. New belts, brakes, rotors, tires and a transmission fluid flush. Regular oil changes every 3-5k miles and not one problem! Very happy with this vehicle, it was our first Pathfinder and Id definitely buy another one.

  • Not bad - at all - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder

Third Nissan in this household (Stanza, Maxima, and now Pathfinder. Got a good deal at end of year (October), so easy choice. It is a high profile vehicle (like any SUV), so does not like sidewind much. Does however like its gas.

  • Disappointed - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder

I find it to be very noisy. Wind noise especially from the sunroof is annoying. Rattling from defroster vents on the top of the dashboard is annoying and appears to be a poor design. Thats just me being a little picky with engineering problems that shouldnt be that hard to correct. My big disappointment is that with only 28,000 miles on it the evaporator cannister and vent control valve failed and cost me $550.00 to fix at the dealer. Im out of warranty because its over 36 months old. I contacted Nissan, but they have offerd me no consideration helping out with the cost of repairs. I wouldnt have expected components to fail at such low mileage.

With 41,000 miles in 3 years, she still purrs like a kitten every day. Trips to Home Depot or even putting 4 golf bags in the back is easy. Black on black, leather, loaded! She eats up the snow in the winter. What a great machine!

  • Great vehicle, very reliable - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder

Bought new in 2004 and never a problem yet. I maintain normal wear and tear items (Brakes, belts, fluids, battery & oil) and nothing seems to beak. Going to drive this truck to its grave.

This is our second Pathfinder. Our first SE was two-wheel drive, which was sufficient until we moved to Colorado.... we have been so pleased with the Pathfinder performance that we bought the Limited (4WD). We have towed an occasional small trailer, or sometimes a small boat in mountains, and its effortless with this vehicle. Handling in snowstorms, even on hills, has been excellent. Lot of standard items, even in the basic Pathfinder.

  • A few detailed changes for a perfect 10 - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder

Absolutely love to drive this SUV with car like features. Handling is great, quiet ride and ok fuel comsumption. Definetly needs rear hatch release instead of glass release only or ability to open glass from back of vehicle without using driver side release.

  • BUY A PATHFINDER: U WILL THANK ME!!! - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder

The Pathfinder is a very well composed SUV. I would choose this over the Honda Pilot. With 240 horses and an optional sunroof, this car is for more than just cruising! And now, they are changing the style but I strictly recommend those 2004 and later. The 2005s and up are not as refined or luxurious despite an additional 2 seats over the 2004
