08 Frontier SE 4cyl 5spd - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By 20Frontier08 - January 31 - 12:56 amBought the truck brand new w/400 miles on it. I have 19,435 on it now (still low miles). Gas mileage is great and I love everything about it. I am a tech for Nissan at the dealership I bought it from and they treated me great! I upgraded the exhaust to an IMPO side exit exhaust and added a K&N air filter and it really helped it a lot. I drive the interstate every day, 40 miles round trip just to work and it handles great on the highway. Everything about this truck is so pleasing and fun to drive too.

Great bang-for-the-buck - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By mf - January 18 - 2:40 pmImpressed with the 261HP & 281FT-LBS of the 4.0L V6, even at >6000ft elevation where I live. Excellent quality all-around! VERY spacious in the front of the cab. Mine has "SE Value Pkg" which includes ABLS brakes, bedliner, pwr windows and locks, RKE, cruise-control, and painted aluminum wheels. Its actually a mid-sized truck with a nice, high road-stance. Overall a great truck for the money.

Lovin It - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By Proud Owner - January 3 - 3:23 amVery comfortable interior. Plenty of room inside. Smooth ride. Quiet performance. Gas mileage on recent 900 mile trip to Okalahoma 22 MPG highway and local 18 MPG. Would recommend to anyone interesed in a mid- size pickup truck. Ive owned Ford Ranger and Toyota 4Runner and the Frontier beats them hands down.

New Truck - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By pahunter - November 4 - 1:53 pmOnly have 170 mi on odometer. Drove home to Littleton from Greeley, CO on I-25 at 75MPH. Truck surprised me on the broken concrete with the amount of bump steer. Front end of the truck gets light and jumps all over. Wife following me in our van and I noticed swaying in the long bed when changing lanes at 75 MPH (not to severe). Other than that this truck is a pleasure to drive. I enjoy the power and solid truck feel. I bought the truck to tow my Ford Windstar while we are traveling. Surprised to find out that UHaul considers this truck too small to haul my Windstar on their tow dolly. Nissan owners manual also recommends electric braked trailer to haul anything over 1000 lbs. Recommend!

Pleasantly Suprised - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By Mike Kelley - October 13 - 11:05 amI purchased this vehicle used, I read many reviews on this vehicle and while the Star value from all sites were 4.5 or higher I saw a mixed review of how people perceived the vehicle. Overall Since Ive owned the vehicle I couldnt be more happy as a 6ft tall male weighing 195lbs its quite comfortable. Pros would be lots of leg room, Quiet Ride, plenty of upfront storage, Good gas mileage(Based on weight, motor size and size of vehicle. Lets face the facts its a 4 dr Truck weighs a couple tons not a small car weighing in at a buck fifty). CONs only one I can think of think of would be a bit more storage space.

Nissan frontier KC SE 4X4 - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By norm ernst - September 16 - 5:20 amNice tight little truck, but not too little. Ride is stiff/ bouncy, but not bad for the wheel base and it IS a 4X4. Yup, it does have a wide steering radius, but Ill get used to it. Did good when I had 18" of snow in the driveway. Havent had it to the hunting camp (mud) yet, but performance in that arena depends on the teeth on your tires, not the drive train. Comfortable interior, good ergos for the controls. Drove carefully on a road trip and got 22.2 MPG with the cruise set at 65 MPH. Not bad for a 4.0 liter 6 cyl 4X4 w/ auto transmission. I like it a lot, and would recommend it.

Incredible Truck for the money - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By wolfpk1 - August 15 - 10:50 amRecently purchased a SE Kingcab v6. It rides great with plenty of power. I was surprised how quiet the interior cabin is and how smooth the ride is. The only drawback is the turning radius is rather large. Gas mileage is decent for a truck - about 18-21 mpg. Visibility is great, making the truck very easy to drive. Was considering the Tacoma or the Frontier but chose the Frontier because it drives just as well but had more features for the money.

Rev Happy V6 - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By NISSANONLY1 - July 6 - 3:13 amThe truck is very fun to drive it is just the right side for what I use it for. I considered a Titan but it was a little to big for my need. The Frontier is a great truck I would recommend that anyone in the market for a mid size truck take one on a test drive before they purchase another make.

Good economy for the size - 2008 Nissan Frontier
By Scoot - February 5 - 9:26 pmTraded the 06 4x4 Tundra for this one. Just couldnt justify 15mpg after selling the camper. More power would be good but this 4cyl is a big upgrade from older versions of the Nissan 4cyl automatic, especially considering how much larger this truck is than frontiers of the past. Excellent handling, great breaks & smooth ride for a small truck. Would like to see Nissan incorporate their cvt technology into this 4 banger to maximize its power.
