Awesome truck! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Steve - December 18 - 8:46 pmI love this truck! It has been an incredible driving truck since my first test drive. I really was not even in the market, having just purchased a 2006 Tundra doublecab 4x4 SR5. We were at the dealership looking for a ride for my son, and I just wanted to take a ride in one, and thats all she wrote. Its a much better ride than the land barge I just bought a year ago. The v6 power plant Nissan uses is vastly superior to the gas guzzling v8 in the Tundra. I average about 20 mpg (6 spd. manual). The best I could muster in the Tundra was 16.5 mpg. I actually got 23.5 mpg on a trip to the coast! Way easier to park in tight situations than the Tundra. Check out the Frontier, it wont disappoint!!

Better than the Tacoma - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Robert - October 8 - 4:00 amNarrowed the Frontier down between the Tacoma and the big brother Titan. This is a 3rd (multi-purpose) vehicle for us to tow our 21 Proline boat and to make those frequent trips to Home Depot. I was not impressed with the Tacoma at all. Lots of road noise, underpowered engine, and way too much $$$ for it with little room for negotiation. I took the Frontier home for the day and easily put two child seats in back plus room for third teen. I then tested out the towing ability and it pulled my boat with little effort. I loved the Titan and if I really wanted a full- size truck, the Titan would be for me but since the Frontier achieved my purposes, it became mine for $22,539 (MSRP $25,380)

WHAT A GREAT TRUCK!!!! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Miguel - September 28 - 5:33 pmI got this truck with the 6 spd manual and is a blast to drive! 0-60 takes about 2 seconds less than my 2003 Frontier I traded in. The seats are great, better than 2003. I liked my 3-gauge cluster from 2003 better, though, but the interior is mainly better. Front end in a little ugly from certain angles. Also the backseat is a major improvement from previous models. Over all this truck, is the best truck truck Ive owned.(Ive owned all Nissans:1982,1993,2003, and now 2005.)

2005 Nissan SE Crew Cab 4x4 - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Lee - August 20 - 11:43 amI have my 2005 Nissan Frontier almost one and half years now. I really enjoy driving this truck. Four wheels driving is exciting. I drove in the mountain when I was in Idaho, this truck gives me enough confidence to climb high mountain and handling is quite good. I really have nothing to complain about this truck.

Greatest Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Dick W. - Phoenix - July 29 - 7:03 pmI have owned many pick-ups but this is the finest. My previous vehicle was a 2002 Frontier SE Crew Cab and was no comparison to the 2005. The 2005 is a most impressive vehicle in terms of build quality, power, handling, ride, just everything! I looked and compared Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Dodge and GMC and there was absolutely NO COMPARISON! They all fell well short of the Frontier in all areas. The Ford and Dodge were really inferior in every way, do yourself a favor and drive the Frontier and you will buy it.

Rojo Jr. - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Simon - July 12 - 5:03 amThis truck rocks!Nissan did everything right once again, power, looks, comfort and of course reliability.Move over Chevy&Dodge and look out Toyota. Nissan has built a great midsize truck. If you cant fit the Titan in the garage, buy this. The interior is a little shoddy, but who cares, its a truck with a pretty hefty motor. Tows my boat, my camper and even my mother- in-law. By the way its manufactured in Tennesee. Youll get respect on the road and the trail.

2005 NISMO 2WD - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By ras1500 - June 17 - 1:20 amThis is my second Nissan product and both have been extremely reliable. The NISMO is a great truck with plenty of acceleration and fun to drive. Fuel mileage is around 20 MPG combination city/highway. The build quality of this truck is not as good as my Japanese built 99 Pathfinder; sealant in the pickup bed is sloppy and theres some glue on the headliner.

2005 Nissan Frontier 4dr King Cab - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By silverbullet77 - May 14 - 6:20 amWell, there is a reason my handle is silverbullet. These new frontiers will get up and leave just about any other truck on the road, plenty of power, plus a little more in mine, comfy interior, beautiful design, and all around nice ride.

Best in class - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By jwill - May 10 - 9:20 amI drove the Frontier and the Tacoma - the frontier was my favorite by far (although some of that had to do with the sales guy). The v6 has power to spare, the seats are comfortable, and Im getting 19 mpg mixed driving, which is about what my old Volvo 740GL was getting. Couldnt be happier with this truck.

Happy owner! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Neil Weber - May 8 - 6:33 pmPrevious truck was a 2004 Dodge Dakota with 4.7L/automatic. This combination turned out to be a very poor choice for towing anything! Transmission was the problem as it was constantly gear hunting! My Frontier has the very powerful 4.0L/six speed manual combination. It tows my 3600lb boat/trailer easily and when towing my motorcycles I dont even feel the weight Im towing (approximately 2200lbs.) I have owned many pickups. So far, this is the best of them all.
