  • Great truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier

I have 8,500 miles on my NISMO right now and its still a blast. Great looking truck, awesome on and off road. I have not found an obstacle this truck cannot handle. Best fuel economy around 60-65 mph.

This truck is powerful, and very responsive. The quality is good, the ride is smooth. The truck has a great turning radius. I have taken this truck hunting and climbed over some pretty rough hills in Eastern Montana without a hitch; the truck grips! Ground clearance is plentiful as well. The truck is genuinely off-road capable. Very fun truck to drive. The only real negative I have had is in regard to the body design. If you drive on any gravel at all, the rear wheel flares get beat up pretty badly. I had to buy a bottle of touch up paint. Hopefully Nissan will do something about that in the 06 Model.

  • The New Engine Rocks! - 2005 Nissan Frontier

I compared this truck to the new Tacoma and Chevy Colorado. At the end of the day, the look of this truck and the engine power won me over. The exterior is really nice (most people think its a titan at first), and the interior is no nonsence. The engine is solid and has a nice response. The stock tires and wheels are nice. The back seats are roomy and the fold up seats are great for cargo you dont want to put on the bed

  • Oh what a feeling . . . Nissan!!! - 2005 Nissan Frontier

Simply put the 2005 Nissan Frontier is an excellent truck at an even better price. It is far less expensive than a comparable Toyota Tacoma. The new V6 with automatic are a smooth and powerful combo. The frame is solid and the 4WD works great (I just tried it out in a blizzard). The base LE model has all the options most people will ever need. I am 63 and even with the front seat all the way back there is room for me to sit it the backseat. this truck is a tremendous improvement over many other small trucks. Although I havent used the utilitrack system yet it appears to be very well thought out and the adjustable tie downs are perfect for securing cargo. Also, the dealership was the best ive ever dealt with.

  • Fantastic Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier

This is a solid truck that looks good and has a cab that will help you stay organized. I think it is the best value in the marketplace, but the gas mileage on the 2wd Nismo stinks.

  • Another Great Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier

Just found a brand new 2005 Frontier on the lot, bought it in less than 1 hour. Traded in my 2000 Frontier. This is an awesome truck. If it didnt have a bed in the back I wouldnt believe its a truck! Rides and the doors close like a car. Very quite inside while driving.

Best truck I have ever had period! Gas mileage is the only complaint, but makes up for that with power. The RF stereo in this baby rocks!

This is an awesome truck! Fun to drive and great performance from the new 4.0 V6. Back seat is almost comfortable for a large adult but I don’t know if I would want to be back there for a long trip. Only one complaint: The only way I can unlock my doors is from the drivers side door. No unlocking mechanism on the passenger side. The truck has power door locks but no Key Fob remotes to unlock them and this is not a dealer oversight. And here is the kicker all you need to have keyless entry is the Key Fob Remote. What was Nissan thinking? The put the receiver for the keyless entry in the truck but did not include the Keyless remote. You can buy the remotes from Nissan for $137.50 each.

  • 4th Frontier 2005 - 2005 Nissan Frontier

Just took delivery of a 2005 Frontier L.E. This is my 4th Nissan truck in the last 14 years. The previous ones were all 4 cyl versions. This one is the v6 and what a difference that makes. The new v6 is great.Loads of power and the 5 speed trans. shifts smoothly.Only have 500 miles at this point but every thing is working as planned. About 19 mpg so that falls short of the older 4 cyl models but the extra power is worth it I think.

  • Awesome truck! - 2005 Nissan Frontier

I love this truck! It has been an incredible driving truck since my first test drive. I really was not even in the market, having just purchased a 2006 Tundra doublecab 4x4 SR5. We were at the dealership looking for a ride for my son, and I just wanted to take a ride in one, and thats all she wrote. Its a much better ride than the land barge I just bought a year ago. The v6 power plant Nissan uses is vastly superior to the gas guzzling v8 in the Tundra. I average about 20 mpg (6 spd. manual). The best I could muster in the Tundra was 16.5 mpg. I actually got 23.5 mpg on a trip to the coast! Way easier to park in tight situations than the Tundra. Check out the Frontier, it wont disappoint!!
