  • 2005 Frontier Crew Cab - 2005 Nissan Frontier
    By -

The most leg room in the back of the crew cab Ive ever experienced. Good design, tight and stought. The engine belt did squeak which was embarrassing until dealer replaced, the brakes still squeak when applied while backing up. Turning radius too wide and I dont like gearing due to fact that when automatic kicks into passing, rpms reve up to high in comparison to acceleration. Have not towed anything. 1 recall on tow hitch electrical. As good as to better that any truck Ive ever owned.

Mechanical Performance 4.0 V6 Engine 265 hp perfect. 5 speed automatic transmission and suspension perfect. Frontier nissan 4x2 crew cab 2005 Its The Best! why? Because the Engine Immobilizer works better than Toyota tacoma double cab 2005.

  • Typical Nissan Truck... - 2005 Nissan Frontier

After a year, the truck has impressed the hell outta me. I went with it over the Tacoma which I like a lot as well but the Nissan was black, so I had to get it. The truck is what it is; a tough tank of a truck, nothing you dont need, simple, great design, and super powerful. The price is right and it holds its value well. Im hoping to keep this thing for a long long time at least until we can get one with a diesel! The paint is a bit weak and does chip behind the doors near the fender flares, but hey its a truck. Also, mine didnt have keyless entry and i got it from eBay for 7 bucks, so stop complaining people! I use it daily and love this truck, excited to drive it everyday

  • My Frontier...its great!!! - 2005 Nissan Frontier

The interior was the main selling point over any other truck in this class. I still feel like Im in a sedan, and the Rockford Sound System...simply rocks!!!!

  • Exceeds my expectations - 2005 Nissan Frontier

Ive owned my LE 05 CC for just over 4 months now (first truck ever) and couldnt be happier. The truck sells itself, even impressing some dyed-in-the-wool american brand only types. I think this truck might last as long as my old volvo (200k+ miles). As for the reviewers complaining about the ride, you really need to ride in a sport sedan like my wifes Maxima SE!! If you want a car that floats along the road, you need to buy a Lincoln.

  • Prod date 11/04 compared to a 03/05 - 2005 Nissan Frontier
    By -

Purchased prod date 11/04 on 1/05, numerous problems [eng rattle, hard pull right, r/r dr pnl incorrect, clunk in drivetrain accell/decel, shudder 3-4 shift trans, brk pedal squeak, washer nozzles misaligned, rolls too far in park, hood & sunvisors vibrate, r/f rear seat trim panel broke off, r/f a pillar rattle, a/c knobs loose, prk brake out of adjustment, frt windows grind up/down] dealer said normal- not!!! Traded back in for same model later prod date 03/05-different characterist truck-no problems. Love the truck-awesome power 4.0L, ride, handling great, bigger than my 01 nis frontier 2wd cc xe; electric blue screams buy me! Love the red dash lights & fact sprayed bed liner!

  • Frontier 2005 Disappointing - 2005 Nissan Frontier
    By -

After 2 months I wish I never got this truck. It handle well, but I feel this truck is dangerous. It has awful blind spots & I have almost had several accidents because of them. I am very uncomfortable driving this truck. First, the rear headrests completely block ones view. I removed them & that helps but leaves my passengers open to serious head injury in case of accident. The left side is simply designed so poorly I wonder how it ever passed QC. When you glance over your shoulder to change lanes, you cannot see anything behind as the drivers headrest & post separating the rear & drivers door completely obstruct your view. The right side has similar problem, but not as bad.

  • Fun to drive, beautiful to look at - 2005 Nissan Frontier

Pros: Wonderful power, but even cruising leasurely this truck just gives you confidence, knowing it can just leap forward with a slight tip in on the right hand pedale Massive brakes and sure stopping power. Handling; again, confidence inspiring, solid, feels like the wheels are planted five feet beyond the fenders. The seats; the best I have ever experience in ANY car. Tough, beautiful fabric, looks like it will last 100 years. Dash; fully functional, everything reads at a quick glance. Stereo controls on the steering wheel are NICE. Sitting height, perfect, commanding view of the road, yet its easy to enter and exit the cab.

  • Big improvement! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
    By -

I traded a 98 Frontier with more than 130,000 miles on it. Dead reliable and relatively economical, but ride was harsh and interior uncomfortable for long trips. Nissan learned their lesson with the new Frontier. Very comfortable, roomier, and the increased torque make this heavier vehicle peppier than its predecessor. I got the plain jane of the line, but am very satisfied with the package. Toyota wouldnt try to find a 4 cylinder Tacoma, but the Nissan dealer was happy to and cut a great deal. Average 22 mpg around town; 24 on the road. Nice job, Nissan!

  • Great Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier

I have a Crew Cab SE. This is a great truck to drive. Plenty of power, good interior space. I think it is the best looking mid-size truck on the market. The Utili-track and factory spray in bedliner are great also. I have a noise in the engine that is on a technical service bulletin hopefully it will be fixed the next time I bring the truck in. If you are in the market for a truck take the Frontier out for a test drive...you wont be disapointed.
