Although the Endeavor is an all-new vehicle for 2004, an upgraded 2004.5 model was released midway through the year to address some initial shortcomings. The list of upgrades includes more horsepower (225), daytime running lamps, advanced dual-stage front airbags and a tire-pressure monitor as standard. An improved ABS system (with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and traction control) is now available on LS 2WD models and standard on XLS 2WD and Limited 2WD. A full-size spare with alloy wheel and a towing prep package is now standard on LS AWD (optional LS 2WD) and XLS. Standard side-impact airbags for front-seat passengers have been added to the Endeavor XLS. Rounding out the 2004.5 changes are a handful of new options, including a rear-seat DVD entertainment system for XLS and Limited, and traction and stability control for the Limited AWD.

By rodo - June 26 - 6:59 pmI had in the past a VW, Chevrolet, Nissan, Chrysler, dodge, ford, Toyota, and after i bought this Mitsubishi endeavor I was concern about it, because Ive herd bad comments on Mitsubishi cars, well I never had a problem with it, drives very soft and good all the time, is quiet, never made any repairs of nothing only regular maintenance it has 176,000miles and it looks like it can go for 300,000 easy without a problem

By Db34 - June 15 - 10:00 amThis is my 8th Mitusbishi that I have owned and it is the best vehicle I have ever purchased. I took home the Limited version with the sun roof instead of the dvd system. I cant believe how great it rides and how awesome the stereo system sounds.

Endearing Endeavor - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By Valrud - May 14 - 2:00 amA solid and sporty upfort vehicle. No rel frills, just plain honest performance and style. After over 3500 miles, no speaks, rattles or noises. Vehicle came with NO exerior defects. Stays on the road, for an SUV type vehicle like glue has got hold, I like the crossocer typr suspersion and frame configuration. Overall a pleaseure to drive and own.

I cant say very much for the dealership (Gillman Mitusbishi in Houston DONT EVER GO TO THEM - GO TO CONROE IF YOU WANT A GOOD DEAL & LIVE IN THE HOUSTON AREA) The style is very comfortable, fuel economy is better than most (gets 17/23 which isnt too shabby compared to some of the SUVs nowadays), doesnt have huge height to it like the Montero Sports, and its very luxurious. I mean youd be surprised, but not bad for your money. I highly reccomend the Endeavor. Regrets? Yeah I wish I would have maybe checked into 7 seaters instead of 5. Oh well, always next time.

afordable luxury - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By rollinbig - May 9 - 2:00 amI have only owned my endevor for a month and I am thoughly pleased with it. Every part of the vehicle is smooth mechanically and design wise. It is new to 2004 in the USA but for the price I think you get style, comfort and reliability for less than you would pay for BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes. A caution for those not looking into buying a new vehicle, if you drive it youll want to buy it.

By Rob Raff - April 8 - 10:00 amMy wife and I were in the market for an SUV, as my 00 Eclipse was ending its lease in June. I looked closely at the Explorer, but refused to support Ford after the 2 Lemon Cougars (1999 and 2000) that Ive owned I saw an early advertisement for the Endeavor. Based on the photos and multimedia demos that I saw, I knew my wife would love it. A day after it came off of the truck, we visited our Mitsu dealer and test drove a Silver XLS. We bought it that night. I was amazed at the job the Mitsu pulled off. My wife really loved the deep dashboard and radio controls on the steering wheel. I really dig the styling, handling, and power.

A great car! - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By Erfan Eilati - March 17 - 8:20 amMy car is 2004 and has more than 120,000 miles on it and has had zero problems what so ever! I think the rode noise is a little bit more than Honda Pilot or Toyota 4Runner. The gas mileage is as posted and I drive 90% highway and get ~22-23mgp.

Replacement for 2002 Explorer - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By hgold7 - February 18 - 2:00 amI got so sick of the stiff bumpy ride in my 2002 Explorer that I figured it was time to move onto something new and different and I found it! The Endeavor is like driving a Caddilac....nice smooth comfortable drive and takes the bumps like a car. Other then the recomendation to use Premium gas in this vehicle and just a bit smaller interior then the Explorer, you cannot go wrong. I have the XLS and the All Wheel Drive is great! Do not pass this one by when shopping....you cannot go wrong, this is a superb SUV with a carlike drive.
