  Just the right size. Relaxed driving with a great engine and transmission combo. Great handling, not sporty but accurate and secure. Good fuel economy.

  I recently drove this vehicle 1,000 miles in 48 hours -- arrived without the expected feeling of fatigue or weariness. Wonderful blend of power and comfort. Car feels as heavy as my previous S600 sedan but is far more agile and intuitive. Fit and finish are great but would like to see upgraded material on lower door panels, headliner and sun visors that is more appropriate to a car that listed at nearly $70K. No other complaints -- everything else about the car is first class -- especially like the airmatic suspension and Harmon Kardon sound system. A true wolf in sheeps clothing.

  I have covered 40,000 miles averaging 35 mpg . Handling , steering, suspension, excellent. Very comfortable ride. My only negative comment, no engine oil dipstick. Body panels good fit and finish excellent both inside & out. Very silent and very quick for a diesel

  I bought the car with 22,000 miles and now have 65,000 miles almost a year later. The only repair Ive made (under warranty) was some front end work. The diesel has returned 35 MPG total average in predominantly highway driving (150 miles/day). With the exception of the front end work, the vehicle has been flawless, even the electronics (which is surprising). Ive owned six Mercedes before, mostly diesels, and wholeheartedly recommend the brand, and particularly their diesels.

  Theres a flaw in the stats: mine gets MORE gas mileage: 45 mph. The car rides like a dream but maneuvers like a sports car. Quiet and powerful. I formerly owner a Mercedes diesel 70s model and the problems were: slower than a gas engine, smelly and noisy. Not now: the Turbo Diesel is super fast, doesnt smell, and is quiet as a church mouse. Listen to your doctor: Buy this car! Miami to Atlanta on 1 tank!

  A very good car overall. Well built, great performance and amenities. Dealer service and interest in customer relations is also very good. My only complaint is that the software CD supplied with the navigation system has very limited coverage of the US outside of several major cities. It totally ignores such places as Wilmington, NC, Camp LeJeune Marine Base, and many other areas, limiting its functionality severly.

  I just bought the new E320 Bluetek. I replaced an E55 Kompressor, so the acceleration is down of course, the milage is double and power is enough. I drove last years 320 CDI, its straight 6 was a little less noisey, you can tell this is a diesel when idling. Overall a beautiful car.

  Exterior Finish: Outstanding Performance: Excellent passing ability and on road performance is supberb. Interior: I especillay like the ultra quietness of the cabin and the comfort of the seats, a bit tight in the rear but the sculpted seats help my 6 foot 3 son find a comfortable space, quality workmanship and fine design (instruments and gadgets take a bit of practice) Engine: Ultra quiet and powerful, those few extra horses make the difference For the price, you have outstanding quality, power, performance, convenience, key safety features, security, electronic gadgetry that really works! A real driving/passenger pleaseing vehicle. An absolute winner and head turner. Thanks, MB

  Best diesel Ive owned. 750-800 miles to a tank. Great for a salesman, but wish the wagon was available.
