This Year's Model Updates:

The CLK coupe is revamped this year and its sleeker body sports a grille that echoes the bigger (and much more expensive) CL coupe's. Other news include the CLK430 becoming the CLK500 via a larger, more powerful V8 engine. The convertible ("Cabriolet") models are unchanged.

Pros:
  • Sleek styling, solid chassis, composed ride, comfortable front seats.
Cons:
  • Some subpar plastic trim, convertibles have small backseat and big blind spots.

  • A true diamond in its class - 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

The only MB chosen by a long time BMW enthusiast. This piece of driving jewel not only rocks solidly but catches all eyes w its AMG design wheel/grill/apron. With not much of dollar difference, 500 definitely beats 320 by miles and by all senses. A true machine to enjoy and a great value to take on as investment.

  • Too many problems - 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

Right when i drove out of the lot, there was a problems with the car. The Ac was hot, the windshield wiper was noisy, my malfunction thing was on saying my sos was not working, my back shades were loose making alot of noise. Overall this car is really fast with 362 hp, but too many problems. Had taken this car to the dealership way too many times!

  • Love my Car - 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

The car is everything I had hoped for in my first convertible. Riding in this car with the top down is the greatest feeling.

I have this slight wind nose that from the passenger side that cannot be rid of. The supposed "SmartKey* " Intermittent Wipers with Rain Sensors is way too sensitive. Even with little drops of rain from the tree (after the rains subsided), it still continues to work quite sporatically - very inconsistent.

I have owned the last generation CLK in the form of a 99 CLK 320 and recently upgraded to the newly styled coupe. Also being the owner of an 03 E, I appreciated the lateral styling lines. The new CLK is a great blend of comfort with style. At times a car can end up being an unpracticle show piece, instead of a driver, not so here! So forget the backseat leg room and the added trunk space, you want power, style and comfort. This car has it all!! I dont think there is a day I drive this car without a HUGE smile on my face. Gliding through lanes, accelerating effortlessly, dropping all the windows with one touch of a button, it all seems surreal.

I AGREE WITH THE POOR VISABILITY OUT OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. NEEDS WORK FRONT PLASTIC BUMPER IS A DISGRACE. FALLS OFF ALL THE TIME. BUT THE CAR HAS A GREAT LOOK AND FEEL. WHATS WITH THE CUP HOLDER? IT BROKE DAY ONE AND NEVER REALLY WORKED.

I could not be more pleased with this car, It is my Porsche, and I am truly considering owning AMG-Badged Mercedes-Benz cars instead of the car from Stuttgart, that I have longed for my entire life. The car is simply amazing. I have taken it out on the track twice now, and have been extremely pleased with its poise and track prowess. I am a very proud CLK55 owner, and have no intention of selling it.

  • A change: - 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

I have a SUV for 5 years and decided to get a small car because my oldest daughter is driving now. I did very little search because the first car dealer I went was the Mercedes. I fell in love with the CLK and I liked the elegance of the 320 and no other car could change my mind. From my sales person to the deliver and the exitment of driving "OZ" (that is what I named him) Im a very happy customer, thank you!
