The Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan has been completely redesigned for 2008. With the exception of its two available engines and three-pointed star, everything is new and improved. There are also more standard features this year. An all-new C63 AMG model debuts later in the model year.

Pros:
  • Distinct sport- and luxury-oriented models, responsive steering, stable handling, smooth ride quality, impressive Multimedia package, intuitive COMAND controller, excellent build quality.

I have had the car 8 months now and still in love with it. Bought it used with 42k miles. Mars red with the tech2 package. So glad I got it with the tech 2 package. nav, bi xeon head lights, and amazing sound system is a major plus! Cant wait to put the 4matic to work with this Utah snow! My only down fall is that the c350 doesn,t come with 4 matic. Would have liked a bit more power.

  • Beautiful! - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I have only owned this car for 6 weeks, but so far the experience has been fantastic. It is truly beautiful to look at, smooth to drive, and once you master the COMAND sterio/GPS/phone system it is a technological marvel. Comfortable and elegant inside and out. I look forward to the coming years of reliable service.

I am loving this car, and so do all the heads that keep turning when I ride by. I have the 2008 C300 Sport w/automatic & panoramic roof, black on black w/the aluminum interior trim. I always frowned upon black interiors but this car is stunning. I always owned front wheel drive cars in the past, Nissan Maxima & Murano, the feel of the acceleration is phenomenal, a nice mix of luxury and sport. I was amazed at how solid & sure the car drives in the rain, makes you want to push the envelope. I was leery transitioning to a car from a SUV but I dont miss it one bit. I thought the interior would feel cramped, but it feels quite comfortable & spacious, and Im a healthy kinda guy

Thinking of a C-300 Luxury sedan? Read this 16 month, 26,000 mile review first. Terrific comfort, rock solid construction, very good mileage, and great dealer support! Reliability has been excellent - ZERO problems. Overall 25 mpg. A recent 1400 highway trip yielded 28.5 MPG @ 77 mph. My wife had neck surgery a few years ago and she really enjoys driving this finely crafted, smooth automobile.

  • Best in Class in PPR - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Looking at the price performance ratio in this catogory of the cars this is by far and large the best. Yes it is trace less in terms of the power from the other competitors, but is way ahead in all other departments, so overall is a sure winner, and of course its a three point star, you know what it means.

  • Switched from BMW to Mercedes - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

After looking at the BMW 328i and the 2008 Mercedes Benz 300C, I traded my 2004 BMW 330i on the Mercedes. I am very satisfied with the decision. The MB is more pleasing to the eyes both inside and out. And for those who may be looking for a not so harsh of a ride, but firmer than a Lexus, this is the vehicle. MB did a great job with this new model. In my opinion, a better value for the money than the BMW 3 series.

Purchased the C300 a couple of weeks ago and so far really love it. I traded a 2004 Accura TL for the C300 and I think MB is much better. Quieter overall ride, just as much power (or at least enough power), better handling and a really nice interior. Exterior with the new silver color looks really sharp. Car is built well and has a very solid feel. The handling on the road and quiet ride while driving is much better than the TL or previously owned Lexus.

  • Love this Car - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Have had our Benz for over 6 months now and still feel like we made a great choice. The power is more than what we need. The car feels strong on the road and is very quiet! It holds the road very well. The 4matic transmission allows us on steep inclines on ice and snow covered Denver streets to go right around cars spinning their wheels. The sound system is great and to sit back and watch a movie, in 5.1 sound, while waiting for our daughters soccer practice to end is like a home away from home.

  • From Japan to Germany - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This car was ordered and built to my specs! I traded my 12 year old RL that I loved for my first Mercedes. This car is beautiful and Im so happy. I test drove the 3 Series and the C class and fell in love with it.

  • Sport Option = Big Go Kart - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This car is very fun to drive and the styling is a home run. Traded in 03 Lexus LS 430. So the Benz is a lot more responsive in the handling department but the road noise is a lot louder. Test drove the BMW 335 wow, that motor was awesome but with the ipod interface, the hard drive, the superior cup holders, and with the price differance we gave the nod to the Benz. This car handles like a go kart. I have a 05 corvette and Im very impressed with how the benz hugs the road. I like the car. My wife loves the car.
