The Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan has been completely redesigned for 2008. With the exception of its two available engines and three-pointed star, everything is new and improved. There are also more standard features this year. An all-new C63 AMG model debuts later in the model year.

Pros:
  • Distinct sport- and luxury-oriented models, responsive steering, stable handling, smooth ride quality, impressive Multimedia package, intuitive COMAND controller, excellent build quality.

Test drive BMW 3 series and found the C300 far better comfort than BMW. Love the sharp turn it handles very well. I used to go over the line but now I stayed between the lines. Gear shift you cant hardly feel, Smooth. Great car!

My wife and I both wanted the C300 Luxury Sedan. We have had it a week and took it on the road this past week- end and love the ride, average 28.1 MPG, love the looks inside and out. We plan on keeping the car for a long time.

Got the C300 Sport, 4matic, Premium 2, Multimedia, Panoramic Roof and Ipod integration kit. Excellent vehicle. Handles great, interior is good quality and fits like a glove when youre in the drivers seat. I live in Cleveland, OH and the 4matic works great in the snow, ice and rain. Highly recommend getting the winter mats from Mercedes-Benz, they really cover the flooring well and do their job during the winter months.

We own this car now for 3 months and this is our 4th Benz (240D, ML320, CLK430). The difference between my old CLK 430 to the new C300 is quite dramatic and a very nice upgrade. Im 6.4 ft tall, in my 40s and this car fits me perfect. Seats are very comfy, steering and just driving it is a lot of fun. While I do miss my V8 the car has enough power for everydays driving and I have to say its quite quick on the freeway. Now my wife wants to drive it all the time and I have to drive our old car.

Im a former BMW owner (528) and looked around for quite a while. Compared the new CTS, 3 and 5 series, Volvo S80. Went for a smaller car since its mostly me in it. Never considered Mercedes as my wife called it "an old mans car." That was until was saw the new C class parked in front of a restaurant. Wow! What a head-turner. The handling is great, fit and finish are perfect, enough gadgets to make it interesting but not distracting. Getting great gas mileage (24 mpg combined) and I was shocked at what a great value the car is, especially compared to the 3 series. 4 matic handles a Minnesota winter just fine.

Love the car. Very nice looking and fun to drive. My first MB and Im very happy with it. I had a Saab 9-5 and a BMW 3 series, this one is better.

Materials are top notch inside and out. I see no difference between the C and the E unless you want more interior room in rear. I carry four adults with no problem however. Mine happened to be full leather, but MB Tex is excellent. Do not get the tan interior. Off color in daylight. Cheap looking. Bad design. Black over grey is best overall. Great in any light. P2 package is worth the money. You have all the luxury ammenities this way. Multimedia is worth the cost for the GPS, Logic 7 surround sound, satellite radio, etc. All great. Very adequate power for size and weight. Follow recommended tire pressures. Gas mileage is exactly what the sticker states. Can beat 25 with cruise.

This is a great vehicle. I have only had it a short period of time, but love driving the car. My biggest complaint is that the navigatioin system I paid good money for is the worst nav system I have ever used. If you dont have an address of where you want to go forget finding it with the nav system. Search features are horrible at best. You are limited to one voice for directions, where others offer several voices. The nav system will override what you are trying to input most of the time and will prevent you from typing in the name of a street you are trying to navigate to. Simply put the nav system is junk. Do yourself a favor and buy a Garmin. The car is great otherwise.

This has been a outstanding car. Drives and rides like a dream. Feels like Im just gliding along when on a trip. Outstanding milage 28-30 mpg. on a day trip of less than 100 miles. Mpg varies as we go through the mountains.

Owned 2 months, excellent vehicle. Looks and drives very well, well proportioned inside and out. Interior color scheme almost perfect. Stable and quiet at high speeds. Much less noise than BMW 335i tested. Makes previous generation C-class look plain
