Mazda tribute - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By MIRANDA - October 27 - 8:26 amI added the leather seats and they are so comfortable. It is small enough to get in and out of easily but has the handling of a car. I love it and my 2 year old loves it.

Make passenger compartment bigger - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By richard - July 25 - 12:40 pmI love the vehicle, however it is clear the vehicle is built for women and small men. I am 6 ft, 220 pounds and to be honest, I dont fit in the drivers seat. My shoulders are jammed against the door and the hip room is adequate but snug. This vehicle is not for most American men.

Dont Buy - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Not so happy owner - July 11 - 7:13 pmDont buy it! Ive had my Tribute for 6 months and have 9700 miles on it now. I bought it new. I wanted wait a while before posting anything online. Ive had problems from the beginning: 1. One of my doors had messed up clear coat. Had to get refinished. 2. Missing clutch bearing plate. I am mechanically inclined, but never had a manual so I dont know what that is. But sure as heck sounds important. 3. When changing air vent flow from ground to upper vents, the ground vents blow air out for about another 10 minutes. Only happens on AC, not on heat. Go figure. 4. One of the upper vents does not close. 5. When it is cold out, it is near impossible to get back into first gear.

First time Mazda owner - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Judy H. - June 16 - 7:03 pmIve been driving my 2006 Tribute now for 3 weeks. I really like it. It handles very well, its very comfortable, the controls are easy to reach, though at first a little confusing! Nice rebates and getting a good deal helped convince us to go with the Tribute over the Mariner or Escape.

Perfect basic transportation - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By MazdaRob - June 15 - 3:00 amI have always owned Toyotas, but hate the redesigned RAV. So I looked at the Tribute and got a great end of year deal. Now, I only require a vehicle with a CD player and AC, so features dont interest me. This car is reliable, economical (I get nearly 30 mpg on the highway and high 20s around town. Ive had no mechanical problems in 45,000 and the tires are still original. Honda CRVs chew up the tires! The Tribute has room to tote lumber, move furniture and carry tools, but its also comfortable on long trips and handles very well. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Plus, my dealer charge for service is very reasonable. Its a great SUV!

Fun at First...but then - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By brokken12 - May 31 - 1:50 pmWhen we first got the Tribute we really loved it. We got an extended warranty since we bought the car used. This was a good thing because wheel bearings, the 4WD shift controller, Rear Suspension where just some of the things that needed to be fixed in the first few months. We took on a trip through the Maritimes and it had lots of pick-up, no issues on climbing some hilly terrain or passing. The comfort inside was great, but the radio broke and cup holder kept coming off. The all leather interior on our model was great and easy to clean.

HAPPY NEW OWNER - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By HAPPY GREAT GRANDMA - January 5 - 5:00 pmI was looking for a reliable, economical, dependable, good looking car. I found it in the tribute Mazda. I feel secure and safe in this vehicle; in fact I just returned from a emergency trip to Texas. I went by myself. I am a female 67 years old and I felt secure driving the Tribute. The gas mileage was good 26.7mpg on the highway. My average speed was 67mph. I am no speed demon. I have had many compliments on my vehicle, all of them positive.
