Overview & Reviews
New body-colored door edge guards are available as an option, as is Homelink and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a built-in compass.
- Roomy and comfortable interior, peppy V6 engine, drives more like a car than a truck.
- Weak base four-cylinder, mediocre fuel economy and driving range on V6 models, cheap-looking interior.

What A Great Ride and Performance! - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By Mr M - December 1 - 2:00 amI have only owned this car (truck) for a month and I just wished I had bought one sooner! I truly find this Mazda a Joy to drive! It handles great and has Power to keep up and run away from most cars! I love my Stereo with the 7 speakers and 6 CD player. If anyone knows about a Tribute car club in the New England area please drop me a line. Thank you and Happy Driving everyone!

Nicer than the rest - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By adriane - September 19 - 10:00 amIve been looking for an suv for the past 3 months, and test drove the Toyota Highlander, Rav 4, Honda CRV, Jeep Liberty and went for a 2nd ride in the Mazda Tribute. By far, it has the smoothest ride, and more inside space.

1 1/2 Year Review - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By kkcaufield - September 9 - 7:53 amI have had nothing but good success with this vehicle. Everyone forgets its a small SUV, not a Limousine. It rides like a little stiff - short wheel base- and seats are acceptable. It will never be quiet like a Cadillac, or smooth as a Mercedes. But its peppy & sporty. Now have 31K miles, and zero complaints. Dealer is excellent. Cant figure our why people complain when they know up front before they buy, its not going to get the gas mielage of a Corolla. And since its a small vehicle, you not going to get a huge gas tank - where would you put it? But...in winter time its great, 4 wheel drive works fine. I would recommend this vehicle highly.

04 Tribute - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By russ - July 26 - 4:50 amThis has been a great vehicle. The cost to own isnt that bad. It gets good fuel economy and can haul a fair amount of stuff. I have two kids so it does see some abuse.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Tribute - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By chicago2624 - May 27 - 10:50 pmI bought my tribute over a year ago- with over 100k miles on it- a lot, I know, by Im a poor college student! This was well worth the investment. I do all normal maintenance regularly And have had no major problems. Its really roomy, reliable, and safe! I love the 4WD in the winter! I am amazed at how smooth it drives. I do not have a garage to store it in unfortunately, but there have still been no issues- in the winter I. Let it warm up and it does great. The back storage is great, it seems like Im always packing up. I would definitely recommend this car!

I LOVE IT - 2004 Mazda Tribute
By I love my Mazda - April 29 - 7:33 amI love this vehicle and we have put lots of mileage on it, lots of room and very comfortable, handles very nicely on highway with little noise. We drive all over on ATV trails in the bush, on the highway and around town and are extremely happy with out Mazda Tribute. When I decide to trade in I am almost certain to get another Tribute. My only complaint with it is the gas mileage considering the size of this SUV.
