Now that the brilliant 6 sport sedan has been approved for production, the Millenia's days are numbered. Understandably, changes for 2002 barely register on the Richter scale. Are you ready for this? An auto-dimming mirror with compass is standard, and Snow White Pearl paint is changed to Snow Flake White Pearl paint. You can also get a Special Edition with a chrome-finished front grille, a black exterior and a black-and-ivory interior with titanium trim.

  I was looking for a sedan for over six months, and my searches narrowed down to two vehicles: Maxima and Millenia. Even that took me a while to choose: powerful engine or smooth ride of better-looking car. I am happy with my purchase, even it is not a "most recommended" car. Standard features can be compared only to Maximas GLE. Plus Millenia is a better-looking car (Maxima’s rear end is ugly even on 02 models with spoiler). For the money I paid for used 02 Millenia I could not get even ‘02 Maxima GXE. The Millenia drives smoother than the Maxima. However, if you prefer power over the comfort of a nice car, go with Maxima.

  Great value as used car. Thousands less than corresponding Lexus, Infiniti, etc. Too bad they stopped making them, but on the other hand I guess thats why they are now so cheap.

  I bought this car used. It has been a pleasure to drive. I have had an alignment problem as it drifts right and has ruined a set of tires in 12k miles. The dealer was not helpful and Mazda NEVER returned my call. The paint on the mirrors at the joining edge to the car has peeled off. Again no help from the dealer. It also shifts poorly on occasion or skips.

  I loved these cars when I first saw them in 01, but could not afford them. Every time I saw one on the road I would just stare and picture myself in it. My husband presented my beautiful car to me on our 25th anniversary. It was the exact color I wanted; white with metallic flakes and sand color on bottom. It was in showroom condition! Still has the new car smell, and under half the new car price.

  This is it… the Millenia S is the car Ive always wanted, and now I get to drive it every day. Easy to drive, yet fun. Affordable, yet luxurious. Low key, yet strikingly beautiful. Simply the best car around in its league. My roomie purchased a new Maxima just a day before I bought the Millenia. The Nissan has some nice touches (especially in the interior,) but so far, hes had to have a speaker replaced and his parking brake handle readjusted. So far, Ive only had to put some gas into the Millenia. He he. Really though, this is an awesome car. Word is that this is their last year, so, if you want to finally drive a perfect car, Id buy one while theyre still available.

  I have had this car for over 3 years now. No major issues. Here are some of the things that concern me about the car 1. The weather stripping is already cracking. Dealer quote for just one door 179$ + labor 2. Transmission is not very smooth. You feel a jerk when going from the 1st gear to the second. Dealer says this is common in these cars. This makes me think, I might have some transmission problems in the near feature. 3. The leather inside is not very supple. Its on the harder side 4. I have about 70,000 miles on the car and I already hear some rattle from the body.

  I bought the car new in 2002 & still have it with 75000.00 miles. It is a wonderful car with beautiful a design. I have had no problems at all with this car . Although newer cars have a lot more gadgets , I am satisfied with what i have . It has a good power & the gas mile is OK for the amount of driving i do.Because of this car I will definitely consider a Mazda if I decide to buy another vehicle although a hatch would make more sense.

  very good car. Very good acceleration. The interior scheme is kind of different but thats the whole point. Plus I like the fact that not to many people have the car.

  We went to the dealer prepared to buy the Mazda 6. While browsing the inventory my wife spotted this Millenia among the other cars. It was love at first sight. Great looking car compared to the 6s. Test drive was the kicker and huge price reduction from sticker ($8k).
