First time Mazda owner - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By Lily - February 17 - 4:20 amThis car is extremely responsive and accelerates beautifully. I do miss having the ambient temperature option that I had on my Oldsmobile.

Surprised at how much I like it - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By illy - February 2 - 10:00 amI purchased this vehicle used, with 38,000 miles on it. I just needed a car to get me through 6-8 months after my husband PCSd with out Jetta and until i could join him. I have to say that I havent had any of the problems with the vehicle that people have mentioned. So far I am really impressed with this little SUV. It has all the space I need and with a baby due in Jan, it will accommodate all the extras and the 72 lb dog without any problems.

New Car - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By Kenny - November 20 - 4:10 pmThere is a huge blind spot when backing up, the cockpit is rather tight; the large wheels make getting in and out more difficult than I realized at first. It is fun to drive, but the cabin space is more limited than I realized at first. The fuel gauge is hard to see and I have almost run out of gas twice. The ride is very smooth and it accelerates quickly. The tires are set very wide and I have hit a curb several times already.

Zoom Zooom! - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By Don - September 24 - 2:20 pmLiving in Denver, 5 to 6,000 ft. above sea level, a turbo is a "must have" for performance! Losing 20% to 30% of a normal cars horsepower at this altitude, its great to be back in a turbo! I bought this car for its utility and performance, and it delivers on both. Great fun to drive! The premium gas is a small price to pay for the performance. Fuel mileage is about what I would expect for a car of this size and performance. Or maybe a little better!

By zangcl - September 21 - 2:03 amThis car is an excellent middle between conventional sedans and SUVs. I have packed it out more than once and barely noticed the drag. Visibility is surprisingly good. First impressions will always impress, the ladies will love it.

Zoom Zoom - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By MPC - July 6 - 12:26 amThis crossover drives more like a sports car. The turbo makes it extremely quick. Could have a little less cabin noise.

2007 Mazda CX-7 - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By anna - June 17 - 12:13 pmThe car looks nice but the tires are terrible. I only have 11,000 miles on the car and already need to replace all 4. Im only 52 and there are a lot of blind spots in this vehicle. Fuel efficiency is ok, thankfully I only drive around town.

CX-7- a really nice garage ornament ! - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By fliar - May 15 - 10:00 amYou will LOVE this car- right up until it becomes a garage ornament! This car has GREAT styling and performance UNTIL you start having known issues with it- 1. the A/C compressors are known to fail/smoke/catch fire 2. the timing chains are known to break in even LOW MILEAGE cars and trash the engine 3. poor turbo cooling design leads to sludge buildup and failure. Numerous owner reports in Mazda forums of MAZDA NOT honoring the 5 year/ 60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty to repair the trashed motors citing "poor owner maintenance" even when owners present valid oil change receipts, etc. Overall, the nicest car you are ever going to HATE! Avoid this engineering nightmare!

Whats with all the complaints? - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By lmf10910 - May 13 - 12:42 amI bought my 2007 with 19k miles on it and have to have my thudding brakes replaced after 3k miles of driving. Mazda covered it. AND THATS ALL IVE HAD TO! I honestly dont understand why so many people have had so many problems. Maybe I got lucky, but I am a previous Volvo owner and would love to hate a Mazda, but cant... its fast, has a smooth drive, truly great on gas for a smaller crossover (much better that my friends CR-V), and never gives me any issues. I wish I had problems with it to maybe go back to luxury, but the truth is, its a great car, especially for the money. Yeah the floor mats are cheap, but its not a Lexus...

CX7 POOR GAS MILEAGE - 2007 Mazda CX-7
By hiiweare1 - February 20 - 12:13 amGot one 5 days ago. Its fun but I wish the drivers seat came standard with automatic adjustment, its just a little uncomfortable. It may be a four cylinder and turbocharged but Its also like to drink a lot of premium gas.
