Wheres the five speed auto and navi? - 2010 Kia Soul
By so_cali - November 27 - 8:23 pmKia has come SO close, but how could they offer an ancient four speed auto - this vehicle crys out for another gear an no navigation, while they were able to include speakers that light up? The red Sport interior trim is garish as well. Other wise this is a great vehicle, but these are two glaring ommisions.

Solid little car - 2010 Kia Soul
By JavaSoul - November 24 - 5:16 pmI like the Soul because it has the positive qualities of a small and larger vehicle. It has the fuel economy of small car but he interior space of a small SUV. It is fairly sporty like a smaller car but has enough ground clearance to not bottom out in all the snow we have received recently.

Not a good MPG - 2010 Kia Soul
By Northland Driver - November 11 - 11:46 amWhen we love the looks and the fun ride, the reason why we got it was: 1) the roomy back (which is very good compared to others) 2) the miles-per- gallon (MPG). We are yet to see the advertised 26 or higher. We are lucky if we get close to 24. In addition to front seat is way too stiff. This is definitely a city commuter and nothing more. Yes, a fun ride, but a bit uncomfortable and not as economic as promised (in the city). Not to be negative, but more of a reality check. The glare on the front glass is very uncomfortable. The light brown reflects the entire dash into the front window. I have seen this in other small cars I have rented. Sound system? Back speakers are NOT good at all.

Soul could become an icon like the Mini - 2010 Kia Soul
By Mike Gordon - November 1 - 4:00 pmOur plus automatic is a month old. Its a small car which drives like a much bigger car or a SUV. Interior space is amazing. Engine is quick enough for California traffic, and the transmission is well made but 4 speeds are not enough. If they would place the 2.4 liter engine and a 6-speed auto with paddle shifters in the Soul, it could become an icon among "hot hatches" like the Mini Cooper, Mazda Speed 3, or he VW GTI. I enjoy driving it more than our V6 Accord. As a former Honda tech I think the engine bay has lots of space and it should be easy to work on. I can do an oil change on the Soul at home without raising it with a jack. And it doesnt have the drive-by-wire throttle - no runaway.

I LOVE MY KIA SOUL - 2010 Kia Soul
By marcgeorge - October 16 - 8:16 pmI never thought I would break away from the domestic / Ford models. WOW I didnt realize what I was missing !! KIA is amazing. Their build quality and craftsmanship is much better and the warranty is far better. On top of that, what a GREAT value for the price. The SOUL is a blast to drive. It is a great looking car, very comfortable, I am 64 and I have plenty of room. The power is good and the gas mileage is very good. I have never been so excited to have a new car that I REALLY love. KIA has sold me--I will be watching for what they bring out next---if its like the SOUL,they will have another winner and a customer for life. I am a very proud new KIA owner

Completely Satisfied - 2010 Kia Soul
By Satisfied - October 15 - 3:46 amThe vehicle is awesome to drive and a pleasure to own. I couldnt have asked for a better deal as well as incentives for a purchase of a new vehicle. Yes. Interior is cheap but for the price I cannot complain. Extremely satisfied in my purchase and will use kia again in the future!

Got to get you one! - 2010 Kia Soul
By YOU HAVE TOGET ONE! - September 14 - 8:26 am6200 miles and no problems, fun to drive, awesome look (gets a lot of attention!). We average 28 mpg on the road and 26 in town, with gas so high we love this car! Lots of power for a small car, 70+ on highway with plenty of power to spare! I need a job selling these, too easy, just drive one and you are sold on them! Believe me with the warranty, service (dealer gave me 3 years free oil changes!) and quality you will buy it on the spot! The interior does scuff and scratch easy but I can live with that, moist cars do these days! What else can I say, best car to come out in years, my first new car in 7 years, love it!

Soul in need of Divine intervention!!!! - 2010 Kia Soul
By Hazegray - July 17 - 8:46 amThis car rides like an empty gravel truck!!! Roughest ride Ive ever had - - totally unexpected and unacceptable!!! I even lowered the tire pressure to see if I could soften the ride --no appreciable differance. Ill be trying to palm it off as soon as I can find a sucker to buy it. It is loud, thirsty, and uncomfortable. Ive put 4xxx miles on it in the first month, so I have enough seat time to make an accurate evaluation. Lots of hard surfaces in interior - nothing is padded or even a little soft. When the seat belt retracts, it mars the hard plastic door panel. Biggest mistake Ive ever made in buying a vehicle. Test drive over rough road before buying!!!

Great new vehicle - 2010 Kia Soul
By mddriver - June 8 - 7:23 amJust got a Kia Soul ! in Alien and love it. The dealership I was at sold 3 that day. This has to be the most fun I have had driving a car in years. Sound system is amazing and the car has more pickup than the Jeep Liberty I traded in for it (and the Jeep had twice the horsepower). Have not had any problem with the automatic transmission..shifts fine and has not issue passing on the highway. This vehicle will sell fast and it should. There are more amenities in the Soul than any car I know of at that price range. Now I need to keep my kids out of it..its mine..

AWESOME! - 2010 Kia Soul
By mountain_kitty - May 25 - 8:11 amI love my Soul Plus. Its a blast to drive. Its comfortable. Great sound system and Im getting between 39 and 41mpg.
