Awesome return on investment - 2005 Kia Amanti
By gstanford - July 29 - 7:46 amAt the moment I drive 360 miles one way to work on my 2005 Amanti. Combined highway and city mpg average is 22.7 mph and I drive 70+ mph when I can. Performs better than what my 450SEL did and the amenities far exceed any car or truck I have owned. 4 way auto windows, heated lumbar leather seats, individual heat/air controls for driver/passengers including the rear just to name a few. Awesome engine performance. When you kick this engine in the butt... hold on. I love this car. Miles are now 57k time to trade so I started looking at King Ranch but changed my mind. I pick up my new Amanti tomorrow. One more thing, the KIA warranty is awesome. I actually enjoy my dealership experience.

My 6 Months with an 05 Amanti - 2005 Kia Amanti
By MagMax - April 16 - 8:13 amThis is the most comfortable riding car Ive ever owned. Its extremely quiet, has every possible convenience feature, is easy to see out of, has a tight turning circle, has excellent workmanship and comes in at an amazingly good price. Frankly, I dont see any reason to spend more for a Camry or the same for an Accord both of which have fewer features and less comfort. The Amanti is a wonderful highway car and is ideal for smoothing out rough city streets as well. The interior is amazingly roomy and the heated rear seats, left and right temperature controls and rear A/C and heat are welcome to all passengers. Mine has been trouble free for over 5000 km and I love it.

Great Used Car - 2005 Kia Amanti
By WHS - January 5 - 8:30 pmI bought my 05 Kia Amanti used from a Toyota dealer. It has been the best used car Ive purchased yet. My wife loves it! It has been on two long trips and the gas mileage is great (26 mpg).This has been with three people and two large suitcases in the trunk.

By Betty Campbell - November 25 - 5:30 amAlthough we have only had our Kia Amanti a few months, we love it and are very happy we bought it. The steering is so "light" and easy ... so simple to drive. Feels like a "luxury" car to me, but very affordable. The trunk is huge; very important to me. The interior is roomy, back seat comfy, and very attractive interior. Other reviews say its slow on take off -- well, I find I must watch my take offs as it seems to really GO! Very easy to glide along on the highway and loose track of your speed. We think its a beautiful car and so far, no regrets.

Luxury for less - 2005 Kia Amanti
By lailani - September 30 - 8:53 pmI traded in my Mazda Miata convertible for something more safe at the urging of my over- protective mother and sister. I drive almost constantly, so it was a good idea after all. I bought the Amanti with 13,000 miles on it almost 3 1/2 years ago and it now has 106,000 miles. I have only had to perform regular maintenance on the car. It has taken me all over the western states in super comfort and I proved the safety of the car in a minor accident. Someone crashed into me while I was at a stoplight and I kind of cocked my head to the side and said... did someone just hit me? It felt like a minor bump to me, but ended up crunching the other car pretty well.

Bettet Than I Believed - 2005 Kia Amanti

I didnt think I would actually find a car that would really meet my needs for long-term use in the short exploring time I had to review cars available. The KIA Amanti model is quite eye-catching and I receive many compliments and interested looks while out with the car. I was quite surprised at how well it handles, engine performance, speed and brakes. I think it is outstanding compared to a previous Saturn I owned. The Amanti compares with and exceeds many features to a Toyota Camry that I thought was one of my best previously owned cars.

By TOM RODGERS - April 21 - 9:40 pmMy experience with the Kia Amanti has a a very favorable response. The car has held up to all of my expectations. Sporty to drive, comfortable to ride in. Good acceleration in tight spots, disk brakes gives smooth stopping. Excellent vision with very few blind spots. Heated seats, 6 disk changer, moon roof, separate temperature control, memory seat control all add to the pleasure of owning the Kia Amanti. I have had several favorable comments as to the design (very modern); also the headroom is very adequate.

What can I say - 2005 Kia Amanti
By Don - March 18 - 6:36 amThe car handles like a dream, very, very comfortable. The power plant is more than adequate to get you onto the highway, and with cruise you have no problem keeping in traffic. In fact, I use cruise to keep myself from getting a ticket, because it drives so quietly, you dont realize how quickly you are moving. Ive had minor repairs done to the SRS (airbags), but overall the car has met or exceeded my expectations. Around town I get 20+ mpg and on trips 25+ mpg.

New car drive - 2005 Kia Amanti
By Shadow - January 20 - 7:16 amJust got car today, 94 mile drive home averaged 24.1 mpg at 65mph, temp outside - 24. Roads very icy, car drove excellent, stayed on track and stayed comfortable temp inside. Did not feel ice lumps on the road and didnt hear much road noise.
