  • Its a Jeep thing - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

I grew up with Jeeps and I have always wanted a new Wrangler. So after many years of saving, I purchased an 06. I love it! The gas mileage could be better. But, HEY! I knew that buying it. Just so much I want to do to it, not enough time, well money LOL. I completely hate the 2007s. I wanted a 4X4 plus convertible. Wrangler is the only one that offers it. My old CJ-7 has 245K miles. I am so confident that this will beat the miles on my old one. I love it!

The Jeep Unlimited is a much smoother & quieter ride than the old Wrangler. Dual top is great for year round driving.

  • The ONE and only...Jeep - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

In the past 25 years I have driven a lot of different makes and models of other brands of cars, but I have always owned a Jeep Wrangler as my second car. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited seems to continue with the tradition of past Jeeps of being reliable and dependable when other cars seems to fail. The longer wheelbase of the Unlimited makes for a smoother ride and the leg room in the back seat has increased, making it easier for the people riding in the back. The acceleration and handling of the Unlimited continues to impress me by its quick response in and out of traffic. The fact that the Jeep is sweet and simple to operate and drive makes it one of the many reasons the Jeep tradition lives on!

  • Loving this Jeep - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

This is the second Jeep I have owned. I use to drive a 1995 Jeep Cherokee and now went to the 06 Wrangler. Love the car every since I have test driven it and taken it off the lot. Good pick- up for a Four Cylinder and not bad gas mileage been averaging 21 MPG with Freeway driving and Country highways (Lighted Highways). 4x4 is excellent. Wish the a/c reached the back seats, a center storage console was included and the front passenger airbag shut - off switch was included but other than that I would recommend this vehicle to anyone considering a four by four.

  • Love my Wrangler! - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

27 years ago, when I was 16, I wanted a Wrangler. But, my dad said "No, theyre not for an inexperienced driver, they roll too easy." So, 27 years later, I have my Wrangler! 2006 Red Wrangler X, 6 speed. I smile every time I get behind the wheel, its so much fun to drive. I love dropping the top and cruising around in the sun. So far, no problems whatsoever. Gas mileage is better then I expected. I traded in a 2004 Jeep Liberty, that at best, got 16 MPG. The Wrangler is averaging 18.6 running around town unless I use the A/C, then it drops to 16.5. Not bad, should get better, its not even broken in yet with 1900 miles on it.

  • Better than regular Jeeps. - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

Fun to drive. Bigger and better cargo area. Six speed manual is a little hard to get used to. Rides better than regular sport package. Lousy gas mileage and small tank, but I dont drive that much so its not that bad.

  • X Automatic - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

I purchased my Wrangler X for delivery in Japan where I live. Ive had it for about two weeks and am having a blast driving it. Dont really like the 12mpg Im getting around town with the price of gas what it is; expected more from EFI 6 (my AT may have minimal effect on that). Not used to steering wander but I found that on Range Rover so must be ok. Cant wait for my first off-road. Luxury car drivers wont like this at all! But they wont buy one either. Cant wait for top/doors off weather!

  • Nothing else will do. - 2006 Jeep Wrangler

I traded in my 1994 Wrangler for a 2006 Rubicon. I was [just] looking at both the FJ Cruiser and the Hummer(s) but, I have to be faithful to the Jeep line. In owning a Jeep the last 10 years, I wanted to keep with a legacy. Plus, it IS the Jeep thing! Plus, best of all, I know the engine and it is easy to work with after working on my 94 4.0 these past years!

  • Kool-Aid Smile Every Time I Drive It - 2006 Jeep Wrangler
    By -

My first vehicle was a 91 Wrangler and I loved it. After all these years I bought another Wrangler and Im home. I havent stopped smiling since I bought it. I forgot how fun a Wrangler is to drive.
