Overview & Reviews
For 2007, the Hyundai Tucson sees a drop in its base price of almost $1,000. SE and Limited models get standard dual-mode trip computers, and an updated audio system with improved controls and an enhanced CD changer with MP3 capability. All are subject to late availability.
- Generous warranty, ample standard safety features, spacious cabin, pleasant interior design.
- Weak four-cylinder engine, mediocre acceleration even with the V6, some cheap interior materials.

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By v_tech2007 - August 8 - 6:40 amI just bought this SUV on 3-12-2007 Ive only owned it for a couple days, I was going to buy a tiburon but my wife talked me out of it since we have a 13month old. Overall I have to say I under estimated it. I LOVE THIS SUV, I had 2 blazers before this and man they were gas hogs, this gets around 300mi off a full tank. It has the same motor as the tiburon so the performace of a 4cyl is equal and I liked that alot! What more is there to say I LOVE THIS TRUCK!

I Absolutely Loved my Tuscon!!! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By slp12 - July 9 - 6:41 pmComfortable, smooth ride for myself and passengers. My elderly parents get in and out easily. Love the design and have always enjoyed driving it. The fold-down seats lay flat and Ive used this vehicle as much like a truck as I have a car. Large items load easily in the back, and the clips on the back seats are great to keep groceries bags in place. Cup holders for everyone. But best of all is its safety. I was reacently broadsided by another driver. The force of the hit was extensive, but the vehicle did was it was designed to do: keep me as safe as possible. Im plan to get another Tuscon...just not satisfied with anything else out there...Ive looked but cant find a comparable.

Poor Traction - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By BillF - June 19 - 2:00 amThis car is nice but it doesnt get the traction one would expect from a 4WD. The tires have a "B" traction rating which would mean lower end. Other than that its not a bad SUV. In many ways its better than the more expensive counterparts.

Love the Tucson - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By KOBYCAT - March 6 - 9:16 amLove the vehicle. Such a smooth ride, takes bumps very smooth. Nice and compact, but roomy. Just what we were looking for. Nothing too big and a decent fuel amount.

Disappointed - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By rxc - March 1 - 10:06 pmOverall, the vehicle is decent but weve had issues with water leaking through the seal of the sunroof after a modest rain fall or through a car wash. Also, there is an associated whistling sound from the sunroof at speeds above 60 MPH. Have seen other Tuscon have this same problem by making the dealer apply a garden hose over the sunroof. Hyundai claims this is this designed to happen. I dont believe their claim and I did not spend money on a brand new vehicle that is supposed to leak into the interior. Very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere in the future to more reliable auto manufacturers.

Leader of the Smaller SUV Pack! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Christy A Jacobs - December 9 - 1:50 pmOnly have had the car about a week but it drives great, real smooth and has comfortable seating. I love the Nautical Blue color I have. So far no issues, but I have only 320 miles on it. I am a loyal Hyundai owner (traded in my Elantra plus my husband has an Elantra) and the Tucson does not disappoint what I have come to expect with Hyundais. I got the base model, but boy is it loaded with features for a base model! The only complaint I have is the GLS seems to be a touch underpowered at a 140 HP 4-C engine. But then again, the 4-C gets better gas mileage too. Got almost 400 miles to my 15 gallon tank full, so thats not bad.

Love this car! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Margaret - October 25 - 10:10 amJust bought it on 11/15/06. Traded in a 2001 Ford Escape. More room than the Escape. Much better gas mileage. Got the two tone platinum. Doesnt show dirt. Everything within reach. Miss the leather and the 6 cd changer from the Escape, but glad I made the purchase.
