Overview & Reviews
For 2007, the Hyundai Tucson sees a drop in its base price of almost $1,000. SE and Limited models get standard dual-mode trip computers, and an updated audio system with improved controls and an enhanced CD changer with MP3 capability. All are subject to late availability.
- Generous warranty, ample standard safety features, spacious cabin, pleasant interior design.
- Weak four-cylinder engine, mediocre acceleration even with the V6, some cheap interior materials.

Love my Tuscon - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By melanie maranise - January 28 - 3:20 amI did a lot of research before this purchase knowing I would keep this car many years. My family (husband and 2 kids)are all over 6,so I needed a car with legroom. This suv has plenty of room in the front and back. I also have all the cargo space I need. The Santa Fe has more cargo space but I liked the interior design of the Tuscon better. Just a personal choice.

tucson review - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Luis Lugue - January 11 - 9:10 pmThis car seems quiet while driving. It is sometimes fun to drive. legroom in the back is spacious also in the front. The interior design is quite nice but it looks like any ordinary interior. Exterior design is unique but the front looks kind of ugly. You can not judge a veicle by its design you must judge it by its engine performance and veicle comfort enguine is quite economical and clean and riding comfort is quite good.

Im LOVIN my new Tucson! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By ILUVMYTUCSON!!! - December 21 - 5:40 pmI am so in love with this car, If I could marry it, I would! I got the Desert Sage, Base level model, but even with that, the SUV comes loaded with lots of things standard. I had an Elantra (two of them, actually), so the fact that this is built on an Elantra carriage is great. It rides like a car, but I am ever mindful to not take corners like Speed Racer. I have the 4 cyl, so there isnt a lot of "pep" per se and it feels sluggish on accleration, but I just plan accordingly. Sound system is great in the interior cabin. I like the fold down seats and the lumbar support, but it would be nice if the passenger side front seat had lumbar support as well. Overall, its a GREAT car for the price!

Im Extremely Satisfied!!! - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Marlene - October 14 - 8:20 pmThis is my first SUV. I traded in a Toyota Corolla which gave me excellent gas mileage but was a very uncomfortable ride, particularly for my lower back. I was a little nervous about buy a Hyundai based on previous low ratings. So, I test drove the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4, Ford Escape and the Nissan Xterra. I was not impressed with any of these models. However, The Hyundai Tuscon passed all tests with flying colors (comfort, style, color, reliability, etc., etc. I just love it!!

Decent - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By kpiechoc - June 27 - 12:50 pmBought car 3 months ago and Ive had it in for service 5 times in the last month and a half for a squealing problem it makes when I first turn it on in the morning. Very unhappy with the dealership and service techs at van dyn hoven for not fixing what seems like a simple problem and offering a loaner vehicle. Gas mileage is less than 20 mpgs. Sunglasses holder to small and doesnt fit glasses. Fuel door broke off already when my husband bumped it with his arm when putting fuel in. Made of cheap plastic. Headrest and armrest are also awkward for me.

Wonderful Vehicle Needs better MPG - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Karen - December 30 - 11:36 pmThe car is great. Right now I am especially disappointed in the gas mileage. It is supposed to get 20 city 26 highway. I do mostly highway travel and I can barely get 17-18 mpg as an average overall.

Bad Gas Mileage - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By rainybstn - November 21 - 9:03 pmI bought my 2007 Hyundai Tucson SE 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A) at the end of 2007. I thought i had done significant research, but I must have missed the complaints about gas mileage. Although I really like the feel of the car, I expected better than 14mpg city and 18 hyw. I change my oil every 3k and have never missed a scheduled maintenance. The quilaity of paint is also very poor. Scratches very easily.

Love my little Hunny :) - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By Lesley - October 24 - 8:56 pmI love this vehicle. I have a round trip commute of almost 100 miles a day and the Tucson has done awesome. I also went on a 2500 mile road trip with it only a month after I got it and went through everything with it. Blinding lake effect snow in the mountains, flat lands, New York City traffic and the it always did great. Its a comfortable ride (kept my teen relatively happy for long trip), stereo sounds wonderful, enough storage too. Its a great looking vehicle too. I get a lot of compliments on the dark metallic grey along with the matching SE trim on the bottom.

Will never buy Hyundai again - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By ralpho74 - September 5 - 1:07 pmI am a used car dealer. Bought this Tucson for my wife for fuel economy and it was a nice suv. Engine already making ticking noise with 40,000 miles. Went to Hyundai, they refused to fix. Said it was normal wear and tear. A Hyundai tech stated it needed a head job and that it should be covered under warranty. After talking to the service dept director, he refused to service it since it had been in an accident. Even though still a clean title with 40,000 miles, it wasnt covered under warranty. The accident was on the side doors. Nothing to do with engine. Reviews online state a lot of people with the same problem. Going back to Chevy. No more Hyundai. 100,000 miles warranty? NOT!

A surprise - 2007 Hyundai TUCSON
By fathoms - August 13 - 11:56 pmWith 25K miles and perfect reliability This vehicle runs just as smooth and quiet as when it was new. It was purchase as a local drive around vehicle but we were surprise at its manners on the highway. Quiet smooth comfortable ride and averages on trips about 25.5 MPG. We opt to use it for long trips.
