Overview & Reviews
After an extensive refreshing last year, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata stands pat with the exception of the GLS trim, which is now available only with the four-cylinder engine.
- Upscale interior, lots of features for the price, lengthy warranty.
- Ride can be jittery despite soft suspension, bland overall character.

What a surprise - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Mike Z. - April 16 - 1:10 amYou think you would be hesitant with a name like Hyundai. Dont be fooled. After you take a test drive your going to love this car. I just purchased my Sonata Limited and already I know I made the right choice. After my niece saw my car the next day she visited the Hyundai dealer. You get the feeling of a solid built car with all the goodies. Thanks Hyundai for introducing me to a well built car. Ill follow up with another review after my first 500 miles

A Great Choice For Your $ - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Sean - August 3 - 2:00 am1 week owned. Researched for over a year and finally bit the bullet. Never thought Id buy foreign, let alone Hyundai. Looked for 09 but none left. Wife fell in love when we test drove. The trunk is huge. Interior is great, especially gauges at night. Standard sound system has 6 speakers and free XM (3 mos). Plenty of storage. 4cyl has great pick up. Childseat is a breeze to install with 3 point anchor brackets. Still on original tank of gas from dealer and weve been out everyday in it. Dealer even threw in dinner and heated seats. $1,000 rebate didnt hurt. Clearly beats Fusion and Accord on price and options for the $. Best overall value for your money.

Love this car!!! - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Matt - June 20 - 12:00 amI have owned this car for just over a month now. It is my first new car in 10 years. I love the way it handles and the V6 power is just right. The limited has so many features included that you pay for in other models. I love the sound system (upgraded with the Limited package).

Excellent car for the Money!! - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Susan - May 26 - 3:26 amI had owned a Hyundai Sonata 2007 but unfortunately totaled my car in an accident in December. I just loved that car and my heart broke! I didnt have to think twice about what car I would get. I went straight to Atlantic Hyundai and purchased another Sonata 2010. I got a terrific price, $2500 off. The interior of the car has improved and the sound system is great. It feels solid when you drive it and gives a smooth ride. The features on the steering wheel are great too and have improved from the 2007 models. It feels like a sturdier car. I LOVE IT!!!

our third hyundai - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By fishcop - February 6 - 9:36 pmAfter looking at the accord and Camry we again bought a Hyundai. this our third hyundai and as a someone with a family who is middle class I really cant see buying anything else. This car is fully loaded with navigation, voice command, sunroof, xm stereo, etc. A comparably equipped toyota or honda was priced over 5k more. After two weeks we have been very pleased!!

Hyundai quality - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Hector - October 1 - 11:46 amI like the quality expressed in the "feel" of the car. The SE 6 cylinder engine is very responsive. The transmission is fun specially with the manual feature. The radio sounds excellent. The seats are comfortable. This is a good quality car, solid.

A Lot of Car For The Money - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Mike Budget - July 6 - 2:26 pmAfter a pleasant ownership experience with our 2007 Tucson, we traded for this Sonata after researching all the sedans in this general price range. This car offers plenty for the budget buyer, and rivals the usual suspects in MPG, options and quality. I saw the design of the 2011 model and it definitely turned me off. Way too angular and edgy, IMHO. This Sonata, to me, at a glance reminds me of one of my favorite cars, the Toyota Avalon. There is plenty of room inside, a HUGE trunk, and a peppy (if not tire-squealing)4cyl that seems to just sip gas. I wish the headlights did not have such a marked line between the light and dark, and the speedometer needs to be redesigned.Overall, great car.

A True Road Warrior - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Ron - July 4 - 2:20 pmWe have been following the improving Hyundai quality and value stats for several years. When we needed a daily driver, we decided on the Sonata GLS PZEV. It is not a sprinter but in the passing range of 60 - 85 it is quite surprising! My wife puts 120K+ miles per day on the car in high speed traffic. The safety features were paramount as well as the handling and mileage. With well over 30K miles, no problems and averaging over 28 mpg at speed, we are extremely pleased. The Dealership is better than my MB group. The styling is vanilla, but that is great given the number of speed traps on her route. Bluetooth and XM rounded out the package for her. She comes home with a smile on her face

Happy so far - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
By Lou - March 10 - 11:56 pm1800 miles in 6 weeks. 4 things I would like to see:softer ride, less road noise especially on uneven roads, softer(more cushiony) leather seats & folding side view mirrors. Controls easy to work. Navigation system easier than Toyota. Priced right. It looks like a winner.
