New - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By ace - March 16 - 10:26 amI have only had this vehicle for 1 day but the V6 that I initially thought would be inadequate is surprisingly nice. It could use about 50 horses though.

Love the Ridge - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By RDL - March 14 - 6:52 pmAlmost made the mistake of waiting for the New Tundra. Test drove the Ridgeline, the 06 Tundra and the F- 150. Came back to the Ridgeline, it fit like a glove when I slid into the drivers seat. Just the right size for my "gentleman truck" needs (occasional trip to Home Depot). The F-150 was too big and on the test drive the MPG readout on the dash didnt get over 10.5 MPG on average. Didnt wait on 2007 Tundra, even though I had driven Toyotas for years and my other car is a Lexus. No regrets!

Ford,Chevy,Dodge, take some lessons!!!!! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By GGOLDS5 - March 5 - 3:36 pmFast, fun, reliable, does it all. Ive had all the American trucks and none come close to the comfort and ease of owning a truly versatile truck like the Honda. Honda thinks of everything and doesnt screw it up. Everything from a passenger side lighted vanity mirror to the 2 way tailgate makes everyone happy. Parks easily, steering is fast and precise. Loaded 600 lbs of slate on the trunk hatch and it handled that easily. Quality is far superior to Chevys crappy interiors and ill fitting parts. The Canyon is total junk and cannot believe that GM still produces such unforgivably poor quality vehicles.Who designes such junk? maybe refrigerator mechanics. The Honda is also very comfortable.

Great Truck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Al - December 18 - 11:10 pmThis is a great truck. I have owned several different trucks this is by far the best built I have ever had. Great ride. Good Fuel economy. The truck in the bed is an excellent feature.

By groundeffx - December 18 - 6:06 pmi traded in a chevy colorado for this truck. the honda is wider and can fit 3 kids in the back seat better. the chevy got 19 mpg with a 3.5L 5cyl 220 hp vs. the honda 18 mpg 3.5 L v6 244 hp.

pleased - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By jim davis - September 11 - 4:49 pmam 67,tall body short legs, but in the ridge i can wear a tall hat. my ridge rides like a accord not a truck. stops quickly and in a straight line ( rain or snow ) . pull a 17c nash trailer , a little added rpm ( live in wa.) up any hill. lockable trunk (golf clubs ) waterproof & clean doesnt blow around in cross wind. easy to park and drive in city traffic (portland,or. )

Ridgeline - Not perfect but close - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By dtag44 - August 31 - 1:31 pmI love my Ridgeline but a few things I dont like are... 1. too much plastic on the body 2. low ground clearence 3. rear suspension weak, cant load bed up due to low weight capacity, need heavy load rear spring option 4. no chrome on the exterior body 5. trailer light package doesnt generate enough amps to power trailer lights

Concur with most reviews - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By godzilabob - August 23 - 1:42 pmFirst and foremost, let me say, I love this car. It handles waaaay better than my 2004 Tacoma xtended cab. Gets the same or slightly better MPG. Has TONS more space in front and back (but the bed is a foot shorter!) The trunk and tailgate feature ROCK as does the rear window feature! But as far as CONS: They are all SMALL in comparison to the PROS. The non- automatic lights...hard to reach radio...ugly big silver door handles...and non extending steering column...the scratchable bed liner...all are minor, but they are notable... Other than that, the rig is great!!!

Love the "green" Truck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By ArmyDude - June 11 - 6:06 amRides like a car, quiet interior, handles all my outdoor gear, a trunk in the bed, and 21 mpg. So far so good. Have had to replace A/C line and get computer adjust but all is well now.

Tows well; why passenger tires? - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By meanders - April 21 - 10:50 amWe use ours for towing a lightweight Casita travel trailer. It drives like a charm with the trailer. While it is not luxurious, the interior is spacious and roomy with lots of thoughtful amenities. The negatives are that is full time 4 wheel drive which gives lower fuel economy; stiff ride; and cheap passenger tires! That is right they put passenger tires on a TRUCK!
